Tim Hortons

A very pleasant Tim Hortons in the UofA area that is located on the ground floor of a large atrium that connects two buildings. Access is off 114 St.

This is a mall type coffee shop with no drive thru window and in this case there is no parking. It's a walking destination. There is lots of seating, some of it comfortable chairs, making for a nice place to have a coffee break. Most of the people using this Tim Hortons work in either of the two large buildings on either side of the atrium. There is also some nice art in the atrium.

When the weather is pleasant there are two nice outdoor semi circular seating areas (not an actual restaurant patio) that are located on the south east corner of 114 St and 87 Ave and the other is at the south west corner of 112 St and 87 Ave (basically the north west and north east corners of this large building)

I come here every day after lunch to avoid the long wait, and it works well. The staff are friendly and prepare my food quickly and efficiently.

This is a very busy location, and I truly appreciate the staff remembering my orders and working hard to make them quickly. The food and drinks are always fresh and prepared correctly.

Customer service can be really bad sometimes, I get that you’re a busy store, but I ordered on the mobile and Waited an hour to get my food. And on top of that when I asked kindly how much longer, I was met with rudeness. I understand it’s pressurizing to work in a busy environment, but that doesn’t mean take it out on your customers. Some days they’re really nice and some days they’re really rude. Don’t take your bad day out on us, and if it’s going to be longer than 30 minute wait, just cancel my order at that point cause over a hour is just ridiculous.

Fine for serving food and drinks but would not give me ice for my badly hurt finger I needed to ice immediately even when I offered to pay! When I explained my situation and showed my black and blue finger nail, they still said no. Went to the Starbucks in ECHA and they said yes, no charge, no questions asked. Very disappointed considering that 20 minutes prior to this, I purchased a drink from there.

Don’t use your Tim’s gift card at this location. I ordered a medium coffee . when I later checked my balance and history on the Tim’s app I was charged for a 11.30 order I never purchased. I reached out to customer service who forwarded my concern to this location and I have yet to hear from them . Absolutely horrible service
