Just got back from visiting this place at lunch. I was SO impressed by the exceptional staff and pleasant service. This was surprisingly one of the top 5 to 10 customer service experiences I have had in Edmonton. Bravo team Tokyo Express!

been coming to this location for many years now ever since the Japanese owners were there and i still love it here! Das took my order a couple times now and his customer service was amazing! he keeps me coming back (as well as the good food they are making). I come there around night and it’s common to see tired staff (understandably) but not him, he definitely goes above and beyond. Thanks Das for making my experience better!

Teriyaki sauce is pretty standardized in taste, like how most people wouldn't be able to distinguish between soy sauce brands. The teriyaki sauce here tastes mildly teriyaki. The teriyaki chicken bowl uses to be cooked fresh, with crispy skin. The temperature of the chicken and the sauce would suggest otherwise. Seems microwaved. I'd go across the street to edo, they have garlic chilli sauce
