Do not order sushi from this chain, I ordered this sushi with a friend of mine on October 23rd and got food poisoning and if you can see the pictures and video you can tell the rice was gone bad, so was the cucumber. After talking to the manager Genay, he admits that they are cutting corners to save money. A 6-hour window for the rice was broken here and it was admitted.

A demand letter for damages were sent, only to get a response from Mr Chi of full defense even though there's video and picture evidence. Even a witness statement was given by a witness. His requests were outrageous and he denies all allegations right away without any investigation. This is the type of restaurant this is. Go to Edo Japan or anywhere else. Our community deserves better and this restaurant changes like this that is ruining us.

Rice should not be slimy or gooey and should not have the slimy shine to it. If it does that means it's going bad and it could be very critical if it's in the right temperature and that bacteria multiplies. In this case the cucumber was bad as well along with other ingredients. Just because Alberta health services set to rules for them to follow doesn't mean they always do.

For the safety of the public, we will request AHS shuts down every location until a thorough and proper investigation is done.

Food was absolutely delicious but the workers seemed to not understand, asked to replace the green tea on my combo with a diet coke and they didn't, I hate tea, and I had to repeatedly ask for a sauce cup. Generally just not a very good place if you want good customer service.

I go here frequently with my boyfriend and he enjoys this location. Shout out to the server Junaid (apologies if I misspelled). He is always smiling and exudes positive energy EVERY time he's working. The food is always fantastic. Our go to is the miso udon noodle. Staff are very friendly and highly recommend this location!

Tokyo Express never disappoints! I always order the green onion cake and crispy tofu, both are perfectly cooked, fresh, and full of flavor. Quick service, generous portions, and consistently great quality every time.

Junaid fantastic guy with good service 👏

This establishment has very thoughtful staff and put a lot of effort into making sure I had a hot meal yesterday and I am grateful. After a 12 hr night shift at a nearby hospital I made an online order for pickup without double-checking the location. The manager called the other location and had my order forwarded to the correct location. I was so hungry and so tired. He could have easily told me there was nothing he could do, but he made a strong effort to make sure I was fed. And I am so grateful. The food was delicious and hot and I will be returning again soon. Thank you 😊

The spring rolls were so hot crispy and fresh, the service was amazing. The sushi was really fresh and filling, and lastly the prices were great. I’ll be coming back to this specific Tokyo express and recommending it to friends/family! :)

First time visiting this store, and I’m impressed! The place has a really nice vibe, and the customer service is perfect. Two Chinese ladies were so welcoming with sweet smile, and the guy was really nice too. I ordered sushi and ramen — both tasted great, even better than I expected.
