Best ramen in town for sure!

Since I went this restaurant 7 years ago and they were good, I tried again. I ordered salmon nigiri and red dragon roll? I love their salmon which was fresh and big. However, the rice wasn’t enough for sushi. It was a little strong taste I’m kinda strict about sushi since I’m Japanese… I’m sorry?

It was another busy day for us and we decided to stop by this Tokyo Noodle Shop in Edmonton for a quick dinner. It was packed but we managed to get our seats after 10 minutes of waiting. We ordered Goma Tan Tan Ramen (spicy soup with creamy sesame paste, ground pork, vegetables and green onions), Tonkotsu Ramen (home made fresh noodles in creamy pork broth with two pieces of chashu), Seafood Ramen (thin ramen noodles with assorted seafood served in a traditional Japanese broth, topped with green onions and seaweed) and Chicken Teriyaki (barbecue skinless chicken served in sweet teriyaki sauce with vegetables and steamed rice). Everything tasted delicious and very appetizing! Looking forward to try their X.O Mazemen and Rekka Yuzu Chicken on our next visit.

Great place for ramen! The place can feel crowded when it's busy, and the access ability is not great, but the food is very good!

Spicy chicken Ramen was very flavourful, Pineapple Pina colada is delicious but a bit pricy. Rolls are amazing too.

I go here probably once a week as a treat and I always love the food and service! The noodles are some of the best in the city, and there lots of options for sushi and other side dishes! The prices are very affordable, especially with their extra noodles you can on the side. The staff super friendly and do an amazing job making sure you are happy in the place. I highly recommend going here if you haven't!It's not on the list but the ebi nigiri skewers are some of my favorite. :)

We came here hoping for some nice cozy ramen noodles, but what we got was untraditional, undercooked, and tasteless ramen. I am not sure if there was a recent change in management, but despite claiming to be traditional Japanese, I would call it “made in china ramen”. The sheer ability for a chef to not only be unsanitary, but also lack the ability to even cook noodles to a reasonable level is stunning. DO NOT COME HERE.

I’ve eaten bargain priced ramen all over the world. This restaurant somehow ranks among the worst. Was there a recent change of chef or management? It’s hard to understand how hard, flat, noodles with no bounce and no chew are being served at a restaurant that supposedly specializes in ramen. The broth had no long-stewed richness or depth of flavor. It tasted like a powder-mixed Cantonese soup noodle base.

The place seems like a fusion of Chinese/Vietnamese.If you are looking for a traditional Japanese style ramen, this is not your place to go.Their Gyu don was extremely dry and maybe needs a little work.

Service can be a little lacking, I suspect my server wasn't having a very good day. But this is definitely one of the best bang for your buck sushi / nigiri places in Edmonton. I know it's Tokyo Noodle Shop but this is my go to for nigiri and sashimi. Great fish to rice proportions. Tasty, of course. Chairs are weirdly stupidly heavy.

Came to dine in for the first time as I usually order online, service was okay, the young girl who was serving us seemed to be not in the best mood, so it didn't make the experience as nice, especially since it was my first time dining in. I'll still order online, but I'm not sure if I'll come in to dine again. The food was good, tho ! The server must have misunderstood me cause i ordered yam rolls, but they came back with Tempura Yam, which was fine cause i like Tempura Yam, but i had to order my rolls again. I always order the ramen and maki rolls. I prefer this ramen to any other ramen in the city.
