I went to Tony Roma’s with my mother and family for her going-away party before she moves across Canada, and unfortunately, it was a terrible experience from start to finish.
The food was poor quality and absolutely not worth the price. It was overcooked, lacked flavor, and seemed like it was just thrown together with no care at all.
What made the experience so much worse was the way we were treated. The male manager kept hovering around our table, constantly asking if we needed anything else, even after my mom politely told him that we were just relaxing and wanted to spend some time together before she left. It was very clear that he was trying to rush us out, and I ended up feeling completely pushed out the door. I didn’t ask to speak to another manager because by that point it had already been addressed, and I felt totally unwelcome.
This was supposed to be a special moment with my mom, and instead, it turned into a disappointing, uncomfortable night. I would not recommend this location to anyone, there are plenty of restaurants that actually respect their customers and understand the importance of customer service. Sadly, Tony Roma’s is not one of them.

New Review June 26, 2025. Still don’t know how to start a new one so here we go again as usual. Our server was Lisa who is absolutely incredible, attentive, and professional. Again, I had the lunch time chicken stack. I had a large piece of boneless skinless chicken breast with the topping of I think it was four cheeses, spinach, and artichoke. Absolutely incredible, tender, juicy,. Then there are the garlic green beans, which are basically something I would love to have a whole meal of and the rice all for $17.00. Lunch deal. What a good deal.
New Reciew May 1 2025 at 170 Street Location. I couldn’t figure out how to start a new one so I’m adding to the old one from Westmont today. Elaine and I had an absolutely spectacular lunch at the new location and our favourite or shall I say one of our favourite servers greeted us at the door, Lisa m. As usual, served us with spectacular professionalism and caring. It was so good to see her again. I had a lunch Special of skinless chicken breast topped with spinach and good stuff. Green beans with garlic absolutely incredible and rice. Elaine had the shrimp pasta dish, which was also great. I have attached pictures.
Elaine and I had lunch at one of our favourite restaurants, Tony Romas Westmount. Our riblings were tender and tasty. The coleslaw was perfect. The best part of our meal were our favourite servers, Lisa and Nena. Their attention to us to ensure we had everything we needed was as usual what made it perfect. Every restaurant needs staff like them to make their business a success.

This Tony Roma's location is not like the original locations from the late 90's early 2000's. It's got a completely different feel, upgraded atmosphere, awesome customer service, and best of all the food is consistently great. This is the only restaurant that makes beef ribs worth eating. No other restaurant can match the beef rib quality here.
