I haven't tried the food, but the atmosphere and general service in this sports bar is amazing. Great place to come and get to know someone

Was ok.

One of the best I experienced in my 30 years playing pool. Tables are decently leveled, I have not seen one aberration so far. Good staff, the waitresses listen and understand what I say without making me repeat (it's surprising how intelligent peoples always understand right away). Thank you. See you there!

Great place for some late night activities with some friends services was pretty fast with drinks coming around and we’re not notified of last call before it actually happened. Really appreciate the staff and prices are cheap. Would definitely come here again.

The start of this review has been edited in the hopes that others will read this before they charged an 18% gratuity they were not aware of. If you are a group of 6 or over or if you spend $200 or more you will be charged 18%. It does not matter if you have only 1 person eating and drinking at the table, if there are 5 others there, that one person will be charged 18%. Our group party of 20 was 5 to 9pm. The bill was then cleared up and I do agree with that gratuity. Then there were 8 of us but had to square up again as our server changed, then there were 6 ( 3 of which were not drinking or eating food). We were told that gratuity only applied to food and drink. Our contention was towards charging 3 people ordering like there were 6, and not openly disclosing this information before. In fact when we asked we were told to read the fine print.

It is hilarious the reply to this review. I disagree. I do not agree with the assessment of being inebriated. Questioning the bill amount was a contentious issues, and I believe that we were denied service for asking questions with regard to billing. I find it decidedly convenient to use liquor laws to deny service as a mechanism to force customers away at the slightest provocation. As you were not there, I am unsure how you can conclude my comments were 'crass' but feel free to cite statements on this public forum.

Tables: above average. Lots of tables in good condition. The tables might be too closely placed. Couple of times I bumped into others or had others bump into me.

Atmosphere: average. Good lighting.

Food: average. Bog-standard pub food. A bit over-priced, and nothing noteworthy.

Service: poor. See below.

Price: poor. See below.

I would do a Google search for other pools halls before coming back, or if i come back, it will be in small groups for short periods. They are too expensive for service that seemed too sparse.

I was constantly looking for a Waitress. They charge per person rather than per table. And depending on bill size and party size, they automatically charged 18% gratuity. I mostly tip15% for bog standard service.

I feel like if you're going to charge above-average gratuity, you should provide above average service. I felt like once we passed the threshold to be charged 18%, the Waitresses phoned-in her service. Once tip was assured, it felt like we saw less of her.

Best to come her in small groups for short periods. At least this way, you have more control over tip and can adjust it in step with service expectations. Plus, charging per person hasn't been my experience with other pool halls. I prefer halls that charge per table because I get more value. I'm not sure the facilities were so nice to support the addional charges.

Hi Brian,

Thank you for your reply, and the explanation on billing. However, I didn't book the event. And I wasn't told about 18% gratuity until after I paid my portion, after I tipped an additional 15% on top of the 18%. Perhaps you can call up my bill?

And while I do appreciate the response, it does seem to fall short on addressing service standards?

Thank you kindly

Service is awesome and the place is very big so no shortage of tables to play and places to sit and hang out. We got there in time to order one item before the kitchen closed and it was yummy. Fair pricing, lots of parking, great place to hang!
