A little VLT room with a bar in the basement of the hotel. It was so fun. The waitress was quite friendly and I even won after a few spins on the slot machine.

I rented a beautiful room in the hotel's convention center for an event, and the service, facility, and costs were excellent! If you have an event/workshop, I highly recommend you consider hosting it at the Chateau Louis!
We were the hosts for a lunch at the conference center and what an incredible experience we had. From the booking of the reservation to the service and the food was just incredible. Thank you, Chateau Louis Hotel & Conference Centre.
This hotel is very nice...my only complaint is that it was so hot. No air conditioning. Staff said they were switching over the boiler on May 10 and then they would have air conditioning. Our room was 24 C - so hard to sleep. They did send up a fan and it did help some. When we opened our window to get some air and to hopefully get some cooler air - we had to close it as people were smoking right below our window (smoking area right in the back of hotel. (and some people didn't go there they smoked right at back door. My sister just stayed there two nights ago. She liked the hotel too but won't stay there again as her room was 26C - Air conditioner not working. Hard when you cannot sleep due to the heat in room and then have to travel the next day when you are so tired. Unfortunately we will never stay at this hotel again as the air conditioning system does not seem to work.
All the staff at this hotel greeted you with happy, friendly smiles. I stayed for a couple of days and some even knew my face, it was so pleasant. The décor and royal colours made me feel so calm in the hallways, and the outdoor spaces. The staff and the building really generated a very classy atmosphere that I know everyone would love. I will definitely be back.
I chose this hotel due to it being near the hospital. Even though they were pretty full they found rooms for me to change to as needed. Their prices were fair. First I was in a really nice king room. I loved it! Nice and bright with good lighting and mirrors. Then I was in an accessible room. It had more of the older look but nicely kept up. Not as bright. It ended up being perfect as when I brought the patient back from the hospital it was easy walking distance. It also had a bed that reclined! Ended up staying extra nights to recoup from hospital stay. Ordered in room service. It was very efficient and just as we ordered. There is a Superstore across the street to pick up extra snacks, Also there is a great mall down the street. Lots of parking at this hotel as there is overflow at the conference hall across the way. This hotel was also very quiet. For some reason this hotel reminded me of Betty Garland. I would definitely recommend this charming hotel!
Great hotel, we were there on medical travel. They treated us very well. I recommend the breakfast. Rabbits were running around. Friendly, courteous staff. Grocery store across the street. Canadian tire just down the street. Close the the Alberta aviation museum and Kingsway garden mall
I went to visit Edmonton and my boyfriend and stayed at this hotel for a long weekend. The hotel appeared nice and had an in-room jacuzzi tub, so I wanted to give it a go. We both had a lovely time in Edmonton and the room was nice and clean, though the decor is a bit dated. We did order room service and the pancakes were disappointed and the Coke we ordered was needlessly expensive.
Restaurantji Recommends
The hotel is beautiful inside, the room was very nice with a good temperature and very clean. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. It's location is not in a great area of town but it's worth staying here. The restaurant is really nice inside with some lovely artwork. Next time I am in Edmonton, this is where I will be staying. Highly recommended.
The hotel is clean maybe a little dated but the dining here is amazing - stayed a week on business and worked my way through the menu - first class all the way - even the house wines were excellent and nothing overpriced - this is a hidden gem!
Outstanding 5 course dinner! 4 persons in attendance. Not a single complaint about any item on any course. I had crab crusted cod as my entree, the others had the beef medallions. Each requested the beef be cooked to a different temperature and all were perfect. Server Tracy made it all the better. Totally Gluten free made it all the better for me, being a diagnosed celiac.
