Bruh, this place ain't a cafe, it's the Tinder dating in real life. You walk in for a latte and end up third, wheeling the staff's love stories. Nobody's working, they're too busy flirting. LIKE, HELLO? Is there even a manager here or did they all swipe right and vanish?

It's a good place to hang up with family and friends however pay attention to what you order!! Sometimes, cakes look high quality but they are not fresh. Actually it depends to who is serving you!
Last thing: avoid their brunch!

I visited Tripolitania Coffee Shop two years ago and had a good experience, but coming back today was a huge disappointment. The place has really gone downhill.
The shop was dirty — every table was piled with used dishes, and we had to sit at a dirty table for over 15 minutes with no one coming to clean it. The display case looked unappealing, filled with empty cake boards left behind because cakes are served without proper boards.
The cakes looked like something straight out of the 1990s — outdated, heavy, and lacking any sense of modern presentation. In 2025, customers expect freshness and quality, not artificial shortcuts. The pistachio cake, for example, was made with green food coloring and artificial flavoring, with no trace of real pistachio for $9.99 plus Tax
Service was just as disappointing. There were 4 staff members, and it seemed like 2 of them were managers — yet all of them sat on their phones, paying no attention to the shop. Even though it wasn’t busy, service was painfully slow. The Turkish coffee we ordered was weak and watery, and the Mille-feuille had no resemblance to the authentic French pastry.
Overall, it was a very poor experience, and I won’t be returning.

Great dessert! Saw it at tiktok as recommendation and came to check it out. The loaded mini pancake are a must for somone who is not a sweet tooth. Also ordered the turkish coffee which was pleasantly good for its price. Will be coming back again to taste more desserts!

Me and my friend went yesterday and had a good time overall, but Selma’s attitude was unpleasant and left us feeling uncomfortable

Everything was nice except for Selma. She was really rude, and I felt uncomfortable the whole time because of her.

My friend and I came to have dessert and a bite, the crepe was honestly great sooo good reminds me of Lebanon, the food was okay, we need to try more to judge but it was okay, the mango drink was not it. the tables were dirty, we had to ask for it to get cleaned off even then they weren’t wiped but over all a good experience.

Tripolitania Cafe is one of the best dessert spots in the city! Their Turkish coffee is rich and authentic, and the desserts are always fresh and delicious. A cozy place to relax and enjoy.
