Uncomfortable from the very beginning. Has potential but lacking an experience. Service was unfriendly and drink selection was very poor with many menu items unavailable. Every interaction with staff was awkward. For being one of only two occupied tables we expected more.

Came here before an Oilers game for happy hour. Specials were confusing. Half pints are 4.25$ for any beer, but pints are 6$ for select few which one of them was tapped out (the lager). They had many beers that were tapped out. Food menu was weird, mostly mains of different types of meat. Had 1 burger on the list, which was chopped steak??? No hot wings, just salt and pepper or duck wings, which I was not interested. Out of deep friend pickles as well. Ended up having the poutine and sliders. Not sure if I’ll be coming back.

Underground is a fantastic modern taphouse with a great vibe and lively atmosphere. The space is spacious and welcoming, making it ideal for both groups and casual nights out. They have an outstanding selection of beers on tap along with a well-crafted cocktail menu, and the food was equally impressive fresh, flavorful, and a perfect match for the drinks. Overall, it’s a great place to enjoy good food and drinks in a fun, relaxed setting. Highly recommended!

EDIT DEUX: No more Belgians :c
While I'd rate it 5 stars when it opened, having a breathtaking selection of Belgian beers on tap, I feel that the place has declined beyond redemption. I don't think I've seen a Belgian on tap there in years and the entire emu has sucked ever since the place changed hands.

Fantastic hidden gem of a pub. Great beer list, fantastic food. Get the Duck Breast and the beet and arugula salad, you'll thank me.

It was a unique restaurant situated under a skyscraper in the center of downtown. They had a big beer list of local beers and plenty of food options. The food and beer were fantastic.

Haven't been for quite some time, and I am very happy to see that the place is holding up.
The menu is more along the lines a gastro pub, rather than your usual fares. Who else is offering adobo duck wings in town! The food is great, I always enjoy it. The staff is really amicable and helpful.
Not sure of who is in the kitchen, but high five to the crew.
There is always room on weekdays, I guess it might get packed when there is an event, but in my opinion, this is one of those few gems in the city.

Worst bar in Edmonton !! Dark and dingy !! The food was dreadful ! Poutine au Cunard was vile ! The gravy was powdery !! Bar tender was rude and impatient ! I wouldn’t visit here again or recommend
Love Mary! Best bartender, so friendly, kind and have the ultimate vibe while serving you :) would 10/10 come again
Outstanding bar with amazing service and draft selection. Every taster in the flight was exceptional. Bison ribs for the chef's special was the best I've ever tasted!!!! Well done!
Nice choice of craft beers. I recommend the chopped beef burger !
Food was fantastic. Highly recommend the Duck Poutine. Everything was hot, and de-licious. Beer list was impressive! They have to “Tap” portion dialed. We sat at the bar and the bartender was both knowledgeable and friendly. She chatted with us the entire time. Great conversation and you can tell she is passionate about the service she provides. Decor was sleek, dare I say posh. The place was mostly empty, it was midday on a Tuesday mind you. If you’re reading this; don’t think just go. You won’t regret it.
