Actually some of the most delicious food I've ever been served great friendly atmosphere lovely staff and a all around awesome place to spend your time. Highly recommend

We came here on Valentine’s Day. Surprisingly that it wasn’t busy at all. The food was really good and quality. The portion was pretty big too. I will absolutely go back here when I come back to Edmonton!!!

I've been here a bunch and find it's hit or miss. This round, we went before a speaker at the Shaw. Upon arrival at a very empty restaurant, we were asked if we had a reservation, which we did not. The server explained that they were fully booked and about to be slammed with customers. Confused, we started talking about where else we could grab a bite, when the server told us he could sit us at one of the smaller tall tables. We got our drinks and food orders in as quickly as possible to avoid the impending rush... which never came. For our entire stay, the place was never more than 1/2 full, and when we left it was closer to 1/3. Booths were empty and we couldn't help but laugh at the situation. Food was fine. Beer was fine. Wine was fine. Still, I won't be back any time soon. It was absurd and will likely be a joke we tell for years to come.

We decided to try this unusual location right on Jasper Ave before a show at the Winspear. Menu is eclectic with a wide range of ethnic dishes which made me question whether the food would be high quality. We were a group of 10 including 4 kids and everyone was very happy so I'd say the food was high quality considering the foodies we keep company with. 4 star because prices are high comparatively speaking but all things considered we thought it was worth it for the food, service and convenience. My wife had the lasagna and Caesar salad. I had the Rib Eye and both were very good. Service was top notch and the group enjoyed their crafts beers. Great option we would have never thought of usually so definitely worth checking out!

Uncomfortable from the very beginning. Has potential but lacking an experience. Service was unfriendly and drink selection was very poor with many menu items unavailable. Every interaction with staff was awkward. For being one of only two occupied tables we expected more.
Came here before an Oilers game for happy hour. Specials were confusing. Half pints are 4.25$ for any beer, but pints are 6$ for select few which one of them was tapped out (the lager). They had many beers that were tapped out. Food menu was weird, mostly mains of different types of meat. Had 1 burger on the list, which was chopped steak??? No hot wings, just salt and pepper or duck wings, which I was not interested. Out of deep friend pickles as well. Ended up having the poutine and sliders. Not sure if I’ll be coming back.

Underground is a fantastic modern taphouse with a great vibe and lively atmosphere. The space is spacious and welcoming, making it ideal for both groups and casual nights out. They have an outstanding selection of beers on tap along with a well-crafted cocktail menu, and the food was equally impressive fresh, flavorful, and a perfect match for the drinks. Overall, it’s a great place to enjoy good food and drinks in a fun, relaxed setting. Highly recommended!

EDIT DEUX: No more Belgians :c While I'd rate it 5 stars when it opened, having a breathtaking selection of Belgian beers on tap, I feel that the place has declined beyond redemption. I don't think I've seen a Belgian on tap there in years and the entire emu has sucked ever since the place changed hands.
