Had their lobster bake and was really good. Celebrated my birthday with my family and was kinda late to arrive but they were still very accomodating to us. We had a big table and was a bit slow to order but the food still came fast and delicious. Thank you so much to Marco and to the servers and kitchen crew for making my birthday awesome!!!???

Great place to watch a game. I personally prefer the atmosphere here on game nights better than their sister bar On The Rocks down the street. The food is typical pub food but of decent quality. The staff is always quite friendly here, and of course THE BEER WALL.

I've always said that everyone needs to have a local bar that they can call their own. Ever since I moved to DT Edmonton in 2017, I've called Urban Tavern MY local bar. With the sad news of it's imminent closure, I wanted to write this review to remind people of how great it is (was). The beer selection is fantastic, with the added feature of a beer wall where you can pour your own drinks makes it a great place to have a few cold brews. The food is bar food, but done well, with enough variation to make it fun to eat. The riblets are amazing. There is a good amount of TVs with a projection screen for sports, so it has always been a decent place to enjoy watching the game. They do have stand up comedy, bingo night, and other fun events. And of course, the staff has always been very pleasant and friendly, and I've gotten along with everyone from the servers to managers. I've always been treated wonderfully. All in all... Urban Tavern was a great place to spend some time.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. They over charged us on our drinks ($80 for a few vodka highballs) and the girl behind the bar was rude and totally lacked service skills. We will not get returning. Will be taking our business to Greta ($5 highballs) and way better service and atmosphere

Great service. Our waitress went above and beyond. Food is good but dry. We each got a different meal and each of us said how dry it was. Burger was dry. Cuban sandwich was dry and the grilled cheese. Tomato soup tasted like they just dumped a can of diced tomatoes in the bowl. But the flavors of the sandwicges were really good.

I've had lobster but not like this, fresh and flown in from the East Coast kind of lobster. Veggies were great and butter was hot. Service was amazing and this definitely warrants a repeat visit. Both my friend and I were fresh lobster virgins (didn't know where to start). Loved it!!

Fairly busy for a Monday night. But it is the election watching party, hosted by CBC. Quick service. Although some servers seem annoyed at the amount of patrons or the busyness of the night.
