Located in the parking lot of Superstore in SE Common, we needed a quick place to eat while car shopping today. Waitress was helpful and kind. Prices were what you expect for pho/noodles. I ordered the Steak Noodle, my husband the Satay Beef. Both were really good and flavorful. I always pay attention to the oil at the top... neither had much! (Good thing) I like how thin my steak was shaved/sliced. No time for appetizers. Would go again! Took a menu with us.

I tried the Central Vietnam Special Soup on the waitress’s recommendation and was not disappointed! So delicious and the meatballs are made from scratch in-house. I think I might be ruined for all future meatballs - so delicious!! Definitely recommend ?❤️

best satay soup I've had in Edmonton, and I have had a lot. It came out so fast too!!!

Unfortunately, the pho broth was disappointingly weak. Not salty enough, and definitely not beefy enough. This fatal flaw is made up by the fact that the pho was priced perhaps a bit cheaper ($11) than competing pho restaurants in the area, but also keep in mind that they only serve one size. Still, I'd rather pay a buck or two more for pho that actually tastes good.

This is the 3rd time we have been to this amazing restaurant. The service and food were really good. The food came out fast and was so tasty and had so much flavour. I really enjoyed the rice combo and bun bo hue. They also make very tasty chicken wings, the best I have eaten. I highly recommend this place as it serves authentic, tasty Vietnamese food with really affordable prices. I will definitely recommend everyone to give this place a try, you will not be disappointed!!

I've eaten at this place twice since it opened, once on the first week of opening and once again today. They have recently fired their old manager and brought in a new one which is a great thing, my first experience there if I could have given it a negative 5 start review I would have. The food was absolutely disgusting and couldn't get past the first bite, after finding out the restaurant went under new management I decided to try them again today. The food was a significant improvement from my first experience, they do have still a little ways to go but it's a delight to see them making the effort now to improve. The service and staff was excellent and very friendly, I'll be back to see how they do and how their improvements continue.

The food was great and service was great as well. I will definitely eat there again. And the prices are not bad.

I know lots of pho place in town and this is one of the worst for sure, see pictures check out how many tiny pieces of beef there are. Less of food won't bring you profit but will drive your customer away.

there was only one server on and he was very polite. as soon as we sat down he brought us water which was super nice. food was quick & delicious, server had great conversation as well as the pho place itself is a very elegant restaurant to chill in after shopping in the commons.

My wife and I love trying new places for pho and had decided to try Viet Xpress. The wait time for service was long. It took forever to get some menus and ever longer for our food. By the time we got our pho the meat was overcooked and nonexistent, the noodles were lacking, and the broth was bland and flavorless. With long wait times, horrible service, and almost inedible food (which was greatly overpriced) I do not suggest this place for anyone.

Quite possibly the worst bowl of pho I've ever had. The “Boss Pho” promised heaping amounts of meat. Flank, steak, tendon, tripe...you name it. It did not deliver any of that. The pieces of tripe were microscopic slivers. The tendon pieces were sad crumbles. The steak slices had the texture of sun-dried leather.
