Ordered Beef Stew but it was dry, had to use a little salt but the spices and aromatics were authentic and blended nicely together. Was too full and put it in the fridge. Somehow it tasted better after microwaving it, it tasted more moist and the flavors were enhanced no salt needed. Don't know but it was delicious and would order again

This restaurant is absolutely amazing! First of all, the food—everything I’ve tried here has been outstanding. From staples like rice and pasta to perfectly grilled meats, every dish is carefully seasoned with a depth of flavor that’s truly exceptional. The spices blend beautifully with the natural taste of the ingredients, elevating every bite to a whole new level.
The grilled lamb recommended by the owner is honestly one of the best I’ve ever had in Edmonton. Juicy and flavorful, with a perfectly golden crust—it’s grilled just right, never undercooked or overdone. One bite and you’ll know it’s something special.
I also love the grilled chicken legs, the rice, the soups, the salads, and the plantains—everything is delicious. If you’ve never tried African cuisine before, you have to give this place a shot. You won’t regret it. I’ve lived in China for many years and tasted all kinds of dishes, but this African food truly opened up a whole new world for me.
The owner is incredibly kind, the service is excellent, and the prices are very affordable. But most importantly—the food is genuinely delicious.

Did an uber eats order for grilled whole fish meal and samosa. The fish was not grilled but deep friend and had a bit of a strong fishy smell although that did not bother me much what I did not like is samosa which has description of potatoes and peas filling (one would think vegetarian) was infact beef and I don't eat beef. Also ordered Mandezi which was basically deep friend chapati and sadly the fish and all seem to have been friend in the same oil that has left many bottom of the pan gunk in the fish cavities and left a sta ge taste in Mandezi instead of delicate sweetness. Fish had no seasoning or sauce... Came with some lettuce salad and chapati.

IMAGINE THIS. I don't think I've ever tried Somalian food but it was pretty good. I'm going to be completely honest and say the dining experience felt a little surreal, my friend can attest. We stood in an empty restaurant for a couple minutes until we just sat down and assumed someone would come by with menus. We were given a banana mid meal. No water, only this pitcher full of mango juice. A soup that I guess comes with meals, I could not tell you what was in it but it was good. The food was good, the service was good, also the portions were insane, like literally a platter of rice. Overall, I can't complain, shrug.
