Food is good and staff is friendly.
I was looking for good ✨️Pad Thai, which we don't have in Calgary.
They gave us ✨️sweet sticky rice roti and was really good.
I would definitely comeback when im in edmonton.

An Edmonton staple when it comes to Thai food. You know restaurants adapted from homes are always the best. You would call it a hole in the wall if it wasn't so famous. Pad Thai is great, so far all the curries I've tried are great. Lunch meat deals every day. About $20 for any lunch there. I love the brown curry.
Vegetarian options: All curries can be served with tofu or veg.

Some of the best Thai food I've had in Canada and I have been to Thailand.
The staff were all very friendly, welcoming and helpful should you have any questions about any dishes. Food was quick and delicious. The special appetizer of Shrimp in red wine sauce is devine.

Good food, but the customer service was terrible. The guy said “we’re closing so start licking your ice cream or else we’ll make you do all our work.” It wasn’t funny like that because we haven’t been making jokes with him and he kinda said it out of the blue. Then he left the cheque for us to divide among ourselves.
Every time I have gone to this place it has had a nice warm vibe to it. The staff have been friendly, inviting, and will cater to your food restrictions. To top that off the food has always tasted awesome. It has been convenient for both dining in or out. If you like Thai food and you haven't been here, I think it is worth it to try it out.
Vegetarian options: There are dishes without meat in them. You can also ask for it to be without meat. You can ask for tofu or more veggies to substitute.
Dietary restrictions: There are gluten free options here.
Parking: There is parking on the street or the parking lot across the street from here. But you will have to pay for parking. I don't know of any place nearby that has free parking.

Been to this place many times, both dine in and take out. Old house so main floor is bit crowded and dark. Stairs to upper floor very narrow. Upstairs is better but usually slower to be served. Overall food is tasty for people who like Asian cuisine. Not bad for value with the price in DT.

I ordered Tom yum soup and a bunch of stuff from here. Pad Thai etc. 100+ dollars of food.
1) there was a hair in my soup. Absolutely disgusting.
2) how do you not supply forks, spoons, napkins for a big order like this?
Instead of CHEAPING out on supplying cutlery I would practise you give some with your orders and wear hair nets.
Will never be back.
Fabulous food. One of the best kept secrets in Edmonton.

Viphalay is an absolute gem, and I can't rave enough about their incredible food and welcoming atmosphere. Their Drunken Noodles dish is hands down the best in the city. The perfect blend of flavors and textures makes every bite an absolute delight. It's a must-try for anyone visiting Viphalay!

Spicy noodles with tofu and vegetable stir fry both tasted good. The place has great ambience and service ? I’m knocking off one star because all their curries and soups had a shrimp paste (which is not mentioned anywhere on the menu), making it unavailable for us vegetarians. We wouldn’t have chosen this restaurant if we had known this in the first place. Overall, a nice place that doesn’t offer lots of options for vegetarians.
