Vi's For Pies is what dining out should be. The food is absolutely delicious and made from scratch with love and care. You walk in and the staff care about your experience from the start. You feel like your eating in a home that is cared for. The menu is simple and has a decent variety. The desserts are amazing with the perfect amount of sweetness, without being overly heavy. This is the perfect lunch spot and I encourage you to taste why homemade is always better for the heart and the stomach.

I usually only give positive reviews; however, I purchased a frozen tourtiere from Vi's and felt I had to weigh in on how disappointed I was with it. I have had it in the freezer for a few months (not very long, for sure) and I would steer anyone away from buying one of these tourtiere thinking that you might enjoy it. It was very runny and not good at all.

The atmosphere and service were good, but I bought a $28 peach pie that had canned peaches in it. And way too many peaches and no cream. It was basically canned peaches in a crust. I've had better peach pie from walmart. I'm not impressed AT ALL! Oh well fool me once.

We enjoyed a lovely dinner here on Friday evening with friends. Very relaxed atmosphere and great customer service. Quiche, vegetable lasagne and shepherds pie were all tasty. Definitely recommended, especially since there is so much construction work, I think they really appreciate the business.

Heard about this place for a long time. Wanted to visit and support the place with all the construction going on next door, so came by for lunch. Chicken pot pie deliciously warmed the soul, and the coconut cream pie was great - not too great and great dessert to finish off with. Service was courteous, ambience was peaceful. Will be back for more pie!

We stopped in for dinner and everything was exceptional from start to finish. The chicken pot pie and soup were served piping hot, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious—comfort food done right. We couldn’t resist trying two cheesecakes for dessert, and both were divine: rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced. The space was spotless, cozy, and inviting, and the service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. A truly great dining experience—Vi’s for Pies lives up to its reputation. Highly recommend!

For our wedding we tried so many cakes that I won’t admit to how many bake shops we tried. Once we tried Vis we knew that they would make our cake. However, we made the mistake of trying 6+ cakes and couldn’t decide on only one and we couldn’t get over how good their pies were too. In the end after numerous visits and always getting a warm welcome despite how busy they were, we decided on 3 cakes (German chocolate, red velvet, carrot) and 2 pies (blueberry peach, chocolate almond coconut mouse) instead of a traditional wedding cake. Our guests could not get enough of the desserts and everyone wanted to know where they are from. Thank you Vis for making our special day so sweet 🙂
