We were not used to the family style of dining so it took some questions to figure out how much food to order. We estimated almost perfectly with only a small amount left over. All of the food was very enjoyable but the chicken was a bit over cooked. Our waiter was exceptional, good knowledge of the menu and in spite of the restaurant being quite busy he made sure we had our order served with good timing. It was a nice touch that they had game 7 of the World Series on as well.
When we booked our reservation, we mention it was for our anniversary. When we showed up there was a rose on the table and we received complimentary prosecco! We then ordered the Caesar salad, rigatoni pasta, beef short rib, and ended with the lemon dessert, all of which were delicious and highly recommend trying. Thank you Vivo for another great experience!
I was visiting my son in Edmonton for his birthday, and came across very good reviews for this restaurant. The reviews were absolutely correct. This is a wonderful restaurant, from the atmosphere, to the staff, and most importantly the food. Everything was excellent. We sat at the counter in order to watch the open kitchen. This made it entertaining as well as delicious. We started with oysters, arancini and the calamari. All three dishes are worth ordering. Perfectly prepared....
