I always enjoy Von's. The food is always very good. Service generally very good. On this occasion we had a server who was new and he made several mistakes. Fair enough...everyone has to start somewhere. The reason for writing the review is that other than the majority of the meal which was fantastic there was one glaring concern. My dinner guest had a baked potato with her meal and it came with ketchup, mayonnaise, grated cheese, and butter. Maybe I've been out of touch with new trends in dining or something but I think that combination for a baked potato is reprehensible. I can only hope that writing this review changes that.

Had stuffed mushrooms with escargot, the baked cheese on top was barely melted. Had tenderloin steak which was very fatty and not a good value for the price.

What an amazing place for dinner! We went to Von's before a hockey game (just a 10-minute walk away), and it was the perfect start to the evening. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the food was absolutely incredible, and the service was top-notch. We never felt rushed—just relaxed and well taken care of. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Thanks, Von's, for a fantastic evening—highly recommended!

My husband and I love Von's so much. It has easily become our favourite steakhouse and restaurant in Edmonton. Our meals and drinks have always been spectacular. The staff is friendly, kind, punctual, and communicate if there have been any disruptions in service. The restaurant has always been clean and presentable and it has a sophisticated ambience. We will continue visiting Von's for many years to come and always look forward to our monthly dinners there.

Apps and porterhouse steak were fantastic. My only feedback is that I left a note that my party was out for a 35 year anniversary and also someone's 62nd birthday. We have typically have had fantastic service on these types of special occasions. This was our first time at Vons, so this was a bit disappointing. Overall the food was very good but service was lacking.

Service was absolutely wonderful, attentive and knowledgeable. The food was delicious from appetizers, grilled ceaser salad, entrees scrumptious and dessert was on point. Definitely one of our new favorite restaurants.

We went there for my husband’s birthday and the food was amazing , the server Sarjay was really nice and always on top of things . The manager came to the table and engaged with us and we had a good conversation. We enjoyed everything at Vons it was a very nice experience will come back for sure !

We come here for celebrations and everyone in our family has a favourite item! Salmon for me as it is cooked perfectly, steaks are done to everyone’s preference, and the grilled Cesar salad has amazing dressing . Ilhan was kind and funny and added to our evening.
