Wonderful dinner at Vons last night. The food was delicious. The restaurant was bustling and is a bit noisy. They do have tables outside. Our server was Alexis. She was excellent and very attentive. She made it a very special evening.

Appetizers were great but the new York was very thin for a new York cut, not as tender as it should be, and came out Medium rather than a proper mid rate. Fries were completely unremarkable. Disappointing for a restaurant with Steak in the name.

We decided to celebrate Valentine's Day here at Von's and we were not dissappointed. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was perfect and our server was amazing! It's a perfect spot for special occassions or any other date night with your significant other.
Went to Vons for dinner and had a great night! The GM, Ilhan was super nice and friendly, plus our server Sanjay was Excellent. The food was amazing and great! Will be coming back.

I had an amazing experience at Von’s Steakhouse & Oyster Bar, and a huge part of that was because of the General Manager. From the moment we arrived, they made sure everything ran smoothly and that we felt genuinely welcomed. You can really tell they care about both the guests and the team.
The service was organized, professional, and warm, and the attention to detail did not go unnoticed. The General Manager went above and beyond to ensure our table was comfortable and that our dining experience was memorable. It’s rare to see leadership that is so present and hands-on.
Because of their hospitality and dedication, we’ll definitely be coming back. Von’s is lucky to have such strong management setting the standard!

My boyfriend took me out to Vons for Valentine’s Day and we were greeted and seated right away. We ordered off the valentines menu and the food came out very quickly but it was still very fresh. I would recommend this place for a date night or any special occasion. The general manager was very attentive and provided exceptional customer service!
The food was super good and the pricing is very similar to any higher end steakhouse in/around Edmonton.The service was super disappointing and very slow. Took around 15 minutes to even get greeted at our table.We had asked our server for a martini and somehow ended up with a mocktail. Took around 20 minutes just to get the bill.

My wife and I went to Vons, expecting a high-end steakhouse experience. It’s marketed as fancy. It’s priced as fancy. Unfortunately, the service (outside of one person) did not match that standard at all. Let me start by saying our waiter was actually great, attentive, polite, and the only person who seemed happy to be there. He’s honestly the only reason this review isn’t worse. From the moment we walked in, the tone was off. The general manager greeted us with a blank stare and the words, “What you here for?” I’m sorry… we’re at a steakhouse. What do you think we’re here for? It felt rude and unnecessarily dismissive, especially for a place that presents itself as upscale. It didn’t get much better from there. The staff members who brought out our food (not our waiter again, he was great) looked completely miserable. No smiles, no eye contact, just stone-faced delivery like they were being forced to be there. It honestly felt uncomfortable. To make matters worse, no one refilled our waters the entire time. At a restaurant charging premium prices, basic service like water refills shouldn’t be a luxury. After the experience, I called to express how disappointed we were. The general manager actually laughed and invited me to “come back for a drink at Vons.” That response alone tells me everything I need to know about how customer concerns are handled. If you enjoy being treated like you’re inconveniencing the staff, this might be your spot. If you expect even average hospitality at a fancy, expensive steakhouse, you may want to look elsewhere. Honestly, I’ve had warmer welcomes and better overall service at McDonald’s. We won’t be returning.

Dined at Vaughn’s Steakhouse on January 30th around 6 p.m. and had a great experience. The manager was very polite and attentive to my wife and me, making us feel genuinely welcome. Service was excellent throughout the evening, and the highlight was a light-hearted compliment on my mustache that gave us a good laugh and added a personal touch to the night. Overall, great food, professional service, and a warm atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing! The rib eye was cooked to perfection and tasted just as good as its presentation. The chocolate cheesecake was not your traditional cheesecake but was exceptionally delicious.
