We got all you can eat sushi. Everything was good. I particularly liked the tuna sashimi, the shrimp tempura, and the seared pineapple. The tofu salad was good too!

This is my mom and I favourite sushi place in Edmonton. The owner is delightful. When we go in, we always let him pick and we have never been disappointed. We always leave full & satisfied.

This was by far the most appalling and disgusting restaurant experience Iâve ever had. I was âservedâ by an older Chinese woman (I believe her name was Fiona) whose English was nearly incomprehensible. Not only was communication extremely difficult, but she also acted visibly annoyed every time I asked a question completely rude condescending. She behaved more like someone trying to drive customers away than someone working in the service. What horrified me even more was seeing her casually eating food with her bare hands while handling without washing her hands afterward. It was absolutely revolting and made me seriously question the restaurantâs hygiene and food safety standards. This place was a complete disaster. Your health is not worth the risk.
Watari is a fantastic hidden gem tucked away on the corner of Jasper Ave in Edmonton. This all-you-can-eat spot delivers on every frontâfrom quality to service to atmosphere.
The service is impressively fast and friendly, making you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Despite being a busy spot, the staff keeps things running smoothly without missing a beat.
The facilities are spotless, which adds to the overall dining experience. Itâs clear that cleanliness is a priority here, and it shows in both the dining area and the food presentation.
Speaking of foodâeverything tastes great. The menu offers a wide variety of fresh and flavorful options, and each dish is consistently well-prepared. Whether you're a sushi lover or into hot dishes, you'll find something to enjoy.
If you're looking for a reliable all-you-can-eat experience in downtown Edmonton, Watari is definitely worth checking out.
i was in edmonton for a trip and my family and i tried this place for the first time and had such an amazing experience! the selection for all you can eat had such good variety and pictures for everything. food was always served super quick and everything was super fresh and tasty. the service was the most notable as well, and dave the owner was such a pleasure to talk to and meet. we can tell he values customers to a very high extent which was wonderful and sometimes is rare in other places. i wish we had this in our home town! when we are in edmonton we will 100% be back:)

Watari offers a decent all you can eat sushi experience with a wide selection of rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and cooked items like tempura and teriyaki. The variety on the menu is great for groups with different tastes, and the food generally comes out fresh and nicely presented.
That said, the quality can be hit or miss depending on how busy they are. Some dishes are clearly made with care, while others feel rushed or inconsistent. The service is usually efficient, though at times it can be slow or inattentive when the restaurant is full. Ordering is done through a tablet, which is convenient, but sometimes items donât make it to the table ,so you may need to follow up.
The ambiance is casual and family friendly. Itâs not a fancy spot, but it works well for a quick sushi fix or a group dinner. If youâre looking for top-tier sushi, this isnât it , but for an all you can eat place, itâs fairly reliable and reasonably priced.

Good food. All you can eat. Lots of variety.
I'd say best all you can eat sushi in Edmonton
Don't waste your time or money going here. Experience was unpleasant. Uncomfortable atmosphere. Server was rude and moody. Weird, awkward, and cheap feeling seating booth. Sushi rolls did not taste fresh at all, the rice was hard, and the rolls were falling apart. Waited a while for our food to arrive as well. The sashimi was good. Beef tataki was mid. There are far better places for AYCE sushi.
Today we visited this restaurant for the first time. The food was served very quickly, which pleasantly surprised us. The staff was welcoming, the owner personally came up to us several times to make sure that we liked everything. The food was delicious and the portions were decent. Also a pleasant surprise was the chocolate fondue, which our child really liked. We will definitely come back here again.
