Waves Coffee House- Hampton Landing

Thank god for this place. It’s not gross like TH, sketchy like McD and weird like 2ndCup. It’s clean, well lit with no smells and still not pretentious or overpriced. 🫣

This store was incredibly busy but well run. The coffee was great (I had a Cold Brew which I normally wouldn't get and loved it). They also had a promotion on to give us the full size when you order a regular which was fantastic. The servers were great and they even brought the drinks out to us. I would recommend enjoying a nice coffee here if you are looking for a new place to get your brews.

I think it was $8 for a hot chocolate and $2 for a plain coffee. Our whole table just went for the cheaper drinks because we all thought it was overly expensive. The food selection is very limited and again quite expensive, it wasn't that appealing either so I didn't bother to eat. There are other coffee houses where I go to because they have great food and reasonable prices. Nothing's cheap anymore and it's expected prices are going to be a little bit higher but honestly, this is ridiculous.

We won't be going again.

I’ve been drinking Waves Coffee’s White Mocha almost every day for the past two years, and the consistency is what keeps me coming back. The taste is always the same smooth, balanced, and comforting.

I used to visit the Rabbit Hill location regularly, and now that the same management has taken over this location, I’m honestly so excited. You can already feel the difference. The customer service is amazing, friendly, welcoming, and genuinely attentive.

It’s rare to find a place that delivers both great coffee and great service so consistently. Waves has been part of my daily routine for years, and I’m happy to keep supporting them. Highly recommend!

I used to really like this place, I loved coming in for about 3 years now since moving into the neighbourhood, but the new management has absolutely ruined everything I love about the establishment. Now the once beloved coffee I used to have is discoloured and has an expired taste. I also experienced very poor service quite recently that has left me feeling disheartened and uncomfortable, I will never come back again.

I have been coming here for the past 2 years and having an amazing time. However, recently, after the new management, I've had a few disappointing and frustrating experiences. The long time staff is lovely, but after some negative interactions with management I will unfortunately be bringing my business elsewhere.

This used to be my go-to cafe in the summer and I'd usually get an iced white chocolate. The ladies were always sweet despite how busy it could get at times. But ever since they've gotten the new owners, they've changed such unnecessary things.

While the guy that was working there was nice I am completely disappointed in the drinks that were made. I ordered an iced Belgian macchiato not knowing what that was and all I got was a big cup of milk... I searched it up only when I left and realized there was supposed to be coffee in it. And my friends small hot chocolate that costed 7$ was barely blended. I wouldn't recommend this place at all!

☕ Waves Coffee House – Cozy Vibes with Room to Improve 🌊

I really enjoy the atmosphere at Waves—it’s one of those places that feels inviting, with a modern touch and friendly energy. The coffee shop itself is lovely, and I appreciate the effort the young staff put in, especially during busy hours.
That said, I’ve had a few hiccups lately:

• The wraps I ordered on two separate days weren’t quite right—one was overheated, the other a bit messy and unevenly made.
• My black coffee with MCT oil tasted off, almost like milk was added by mistake.
• Prices for sandwiches and sweet treats feel a little high for what you get.
• And yes… both days ended with a bit of a mess on my leggings. Not ideal!

Still, I like the place and hope they fine-tune the details. With a little more consistency and care, Waves could easily become a top spot for a quick bite and a cozy sip.
