First time visit with a friend. We just wanted some fries. Large portion, decided on parmesan fries & some regular.
Parmesan cheese would be a nice touch, rather than a parmasan tasting spice mix
Staff were very sweet

I visited for a late dinner and although the shop was nearly empty service was pretty slow.
Once the cashier returned to her station she was friendly and took my order quickly but I think management probably has her doing too many tasks as I noticed that I wasn't the only person waiting while she made milkshakes or bussed tables in addition to taking orders.
Parking: Depending on when you visit parking in this little complex can be pretty awful. There are way too many businesses crammed in without sufficient parking for all. Many of the businesses in here are sit down restaurants so people tend to stay a while but there is still demand for temporary parking for pick up orders or other quick-service businesses.
A pretty poor development decision by the property owner but not a strike against Wayback.

I think their burgers and shakes are fantastic. Everything else sucks. Don’t order the chicken wrap. It’s pathetic in size. Absolute disgrace. Barely the size of a Bic lighter. Whoever is responsible for the portioning of their wraps should be fired. Utterly embarrassing. McDonald’s has a bigger wrap. Do better.

It is a chain like Fatburger. However, I like this location. Food is good, price point is about what you would expect, about 30% more than regular chains like BK A&W etc. Lots of glueten free options. Service was okay, but I had to repeat the order 3 times to get it right. Also wasn't what I would call friendly and welcoming.
My only really negative is having to bypass the Tip option twice to pay with a credit card. That actually pees me off a lot. Why in heck does a restaurant that does mostly take out, with order at the counter, and bus your own tables like McDonalds, have any tip option at all. Why am I being asked to tip for no service of any kind. They need to remove that from the payment machine. Anyone that tips these kinds of restaurants are suckers and perpetuating this nonsense. The food is expensive enough the owner can pay his own staff.

The Burger are bad. Oily and taste like frozen burger we can buy at grocery store. Definitely not worth the price.
Was smashed inside the package
Staff’s look like they don’t like to be there.

Ordered take out Friday Jan 24. The last the took our order was lovely but it seemed like the line staff was taking much longer than usual to fill the order. We have been there many times before and usually don’t mind the wait but tonight things seemed more disorganized. When we finally got our order we got home and after getting over half way through my burger this bug fell off the lettuce. It’s very unfortunate this experience given the price point of the food. I was able to give a pass for the time waited but the bug in my burger really is awful

I ordered uber eats tonight & got the chicken sandwich where you can choose your own toppings. It was big and it tasted just okay. I give it a 6/10. The garlic parm fries were tasty but cold and Stale. The gravy I can tell can from a powdered Package. It didn’t taste good at all.
I also got extra fries for free :)
I’d go back and try their milk shakes and their Beef burgers! :)

Delicious Burgers & Great Service! Wayback Burgers on 137 Ave is a must-visit for burger lovers! The food is fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.Definitely one of the best burger spots been to
If you like the house cut chips, you will be disappointed. They are almost always out when I go there.
Check out The Thirsty Rhino for a better selection of burgers and house cut chips.
