As always, the food here is standard. And good, I enjoy a good Wendy's. Especially a jbc At this particular restaurant, with a full hour till close, they would not serve me a hot coffee in Edmonton on a −20 day. I asked if they had any other hot beverages, they said no. Not only would they not give me a hot beverage, but they turned the heat off in the dining room.I know because I could see my breath in it.
The owner of the restaurant should be made aware of this as it's very not good for business. I would honestly consider changing the entire staff. The one guy at the front of the restaurant was asking and seeing if he could do a pot of coffee. I even offered to pay extra to have a pot of coffee and they wouldn't And not only that, they turned off the heat like and the place was filthy and they couldn't wait to get me out and you could hear them talking about how I should go get an English muffin. I'm sorry, but I wanted a burger. That's why I went to Wendy's. I will never ever visit this restaurant again. And I strongly encourage anyone who lives in this area not to go by this Wendy's. The staff is terrible, it's very unclean. At least the food's still good. That's why it got three stars for the food.But even that there wasn't much mayo on the sandwich, the veggies looked terrible and honestly I will never ever go to this wendy's, again and I recommend no one else does either

Took my senior mobility impaired mother for lunch. The handicap parking was glare ice aswell as the entrance to the restaurant. I asked to speak to the manager but she was too busy with drive thru to speak to me but would come to my table shortly. 40 minutes late we left. Will never bring my mother here again.

I used to come to this location because it was the last remaining one with a sunroom and original decor. The recent renovations have ruined the vibe completely - leaving it stark and medical. The food and service are what's to be expected from a fast food restaurant, but the renos have taken any reason I had to return.

:( place sucks now, renovations took out the solarium and all the 80s/90s vibes. Place feels like they don't want you to dine in anymore, staff are all different and it was the worst fries I've had in my life. Feels like the renovations were part of an ownership change maybe. Either way after going here 30+ years I won't be back. Tastes like hospital food and feels like eating in a hospital cafeteria to boot

Edit; I removed part of my old review. The new wendys is not what used to be. After the renovations things have gotten much better and after my review on the service I've been back quite a few times and things have turned around completely for the better! Glad to see it!
Ordered our food got no napkins...asked for Pepsi/Coke and got diet pop....or regular pop that tastes like crap

Haven’t been to this location in a year because we’ve had bad experiences every time. Since they have remodelled we thought we’d give them a second chance.
Once again these people are idiots. The guy at the window didn’t sound like he even wanted to be there. He was ignorant and rude would not substitute spicy chicken for plain chicken meal. We told him no ice in the drinks & ALL the drinks are HALF FILL of ice.
That is it, we will never ever ever be back here again and we live a few blocks away. They’ve lost our business for good. Yes we tell everyone around us to stay clear of this location.
Staff does not seem to care selling burnt nuggets and dirty restaurant while most of the staff are sitting around on break. I usually come here with my daughters after school I think we will find another location now. I think corporate should investigate this franchise and shut it down.
