Really good steak! Great location as well if you have a function happening downtown.

Met a friend here for a drink. And after work snack. Great menu great atmosphere. I would recommend it
For casual meet up. This is a fairly small location, but the smell of wood fire and the atmosphere rear warm and friendly.

The smoked olives were fantastic.

These guys know how to make a good Old Fashioned!

Love this place. Great service and great bartending. Love to cocktails and the sourdough bread was huge in portion, especially for happy hour menu. Just right across the street from the Westin, and I would definitely be here over the lounge inside the hotel any day.

Went for a leisurely date last night, and was rushed out in less than an hour. When we ordered our food we had asked to have everything slowly come out. To our dismay, everything came out at once. We didn’t have time to enjoy our oysters, before the mains were on the table. Our little two top table was crammed with food and when we said something to the guy working he basically ignored us and walked away. So we matched their pace, ate, got the bill and went somewhere else for another cocktail…Woodwork, you have, great food (oysters, frites, sausage, gnocchi very good) and we often come here. But your service needs help. 😬

We had a wonderful meal! Of particular highlights was the brussels sprouts a latte and the steak tartare! The cocktails were also excellent. We will be back

Was excited to try this restaurant before heading to a show at the Citadel. The food was okay overall, but our server was not. When asked about the daily market cut, we were told about the type of steak that was being served, and that it had a “red sauce - but I can’t remember the name or what’s in it - but it’s good”. Needless to say we did not order that dish. I asked about the Chicken Supreme. The server told me that he wasn’t sure, but that it was a chicken breast with some sort of cream sauce on top. Regretfully, I ordered the chicken. When the dish arrived the server put down a plate with a chicken breast (no cream sauce). He said, “I thought your question about Chicken Supreme was dumb, but I asked at the kitchen and they told me it is called Chicken Supreme because it is the best cut of chicken breast.” I was pretty shocked that: 1. He told me my question was dumb, and 2. He knew the chicken was not as he described it to me, yet he never gave me the chance to order something else instead. I’m not sure what makes one chicken breast cut supreme to another, but the meal was very bland - I would not have ordered it if I had known what it actually was. My friends were pretty shocked that a server told me my question was dumb - answering questions about the menu is a server’s job after all. Won’t be returning and won’t be recommending.

The food was delicious, the drinks were phenomenal and the service was excellent. My only complaint is that it was so dark we were straining to see our menus, let alone the food. Bump up the lighting just a touch and this would be 5 stars!

Ate at Woodwork with colleagues. Across from the Westin downtown. Service is efficient, food is tasty. Parmesan fries were highly addictive and cocktail was surprisingly yummy. Main courses were good as well. I demolished the creamy pasta (carb night, for sure). We walked from the JW downtown and recommended Uber generally DT due to the homeless situation in Edm.

We had a great experience at Woodwork! The charcuterie board was fantastic — beautifully presented and full of flavour. The selection of meats was a little different in the best way, offering a nice change from the usual options. Great atmosphere.

Great evening with our group. Food was excellent as was the service. The Beef Short rib was very tasty!! If you haven't had the Espresso Martini, you should! We will be back.

Really nice atmosphere and service was great, the waiter was very nice to us and made sure we had everything we needed. The food tasted great too. Only thing is the price is quite high, especially considering the portions of some dishes

Wait staff was friendly, attentive, and offered great suggestions. The craft cocktails were amazing - try one of their many Old Fashioneds. The food was perfectly prepared and flavorful. Try the Elote Brussel Sprouts & homemade sausage of the day.
