I came with a group of friends and we received good service at first, until our server changed his shift. The next person was not on top of where our order was and had to be asked to go check on it. The food was delicious, although one of my friends and the pork chop and was disappointed with how much there was considering the price. We did get a complimentary dessert to share because it took so long for our food to arrive. When it came time to pay, the server put the whole bill on my card and then was unable to reverse the charge. My friends had to transfer me the money. I would try it again to see if I get the same experience.

This is a lovely spot for a date night. We enjoyed our food and drinks. Our server was great too. However, after dinner and a drink (just over an hour) they let us know that they had another reservation coming in shortly so if we stayed they may have to shuffle us to another spot (not sure where, they were full even at the bar). We didn't order another round of drinks or dessert and our server seemed relieved that we just asked for the bill. The online reservation system does say that parties up to 4 ppl have a two hour reservation but that doesn't seem to be the case. I booked our table a month in advance, considering the timing of a nearby event we were attending. Luckily there are several other spots nearby to stop for another drink and kill some time. Normally I'd say “these things happen” but it's the second time we've had a reservation issue here so I thought it was worth a review.

There was 4 of us and we shared the full board, the ribs,the sausage and the truffle fries, then shared the toffee pudding and cheesecake for dessert,it was awesome. The drink choices was also very good

The restaurant does not have AC. It was uncomfortably hot. Service and food was ok. Used to be much better

I've been here a few times. This last time, it was SO hot. Old building, hot weather, wood fire kitchen. We were dripping sweat. Frustrated to pay $17 for a 5 oz glass of wine (only 4 choices). I not sure I'll come back.

We booked a 4:45pm reso for a birthday dinner before going to a concert. in the booking we stated it was a special occasion Birthday dinner. We arrived and gave our name to no reservation acknowledgement and the guy just said I guess we can put you here. The food was good, it wasn't a long wait for it and then we cleared our bill and left. Not once did we get a Happy Birthday from anyone or thank you for choosing our place to celebrate your birthday. Not sure if woodwork gets another visit from us for such a simple little gesture to do and yet they just couldn't read the reservation sheet properly or just didn't care.

The atmosphere and service were truly excellent, and we were excited to try the menu. We ordered the tartare, panzanella, and two steaks. Unfortunately, both my friend and I became ill later that evening. Since we shared the tartare and panzanella (which is mostly vegetables), we suspect the tartare may not have been handled or prepared properly. It's disappointing, as the experience was otherwise great. I hope this is looked into, as the place has a lot of potential.
