It is a rarity for me to leave a restaurant actually satisfied with food, because most of the time it has no flavor and the lack of seasoning is covered with sauces. At Woodwork all food was seasoned well (I’m not referring to spice), prepared with care, and served by a lovely staff. The fish and the stakes were cooked to perfection, melting in one’s mouth. Stake tartar was bursting with flavor. It truly was a pleasurable experience. Highly recommended it!!
I had the Brussels sprout appetizer. Very good but a bit rich with oil. The Brome Lake Duck Breast was good even not cooked enough for my personnal. The staff was great at getting this adjusted. Good atmospere. Very pleasant experience.

This place is a gem. One of the best cocktail establishments in the city. I recommend making a reservation if you're going for dinner - the place has limited seating and it fills up fast.

Delightful experience 😉 food atmosphere, service and drinks. If you read some of the other reviews you will see noise does travel, high ceilings etc but I still have a 5 star because everything else makes up for this. Well worth a visit if you are downtown. We went a little later at night so it was quieter. Thanks again for a great experience.

The new Woodwork renovation is gorgeous. Never thought they needed it but it takes the whole space to a new level. The cocktails are obviously still world class but the glass of Bordeaux I enjoyed with my Steak Frites was the kind of transport you need when it’s a million degrees below zero and you just wish you were in St. Émilion. So good to see an Edmonton gem still going strong.

My spouse said his Bourbon was one of the best drinks he can remember having in a long time. Our lunch was delicious and the service was amazing, she knew we were coming for a birthday and surprised us with the toffee pudding cake which was soooo good. This was a delight of a place for us and we will for sure be going back!
