Xing Wang Bakery Reviews
I have been to this wonderful place a few times now and each time the food is fresh and tasty. I love the custard steam buns the most! They are light, fluffy, and delicious! It is even better than my mom's baking. My mom is an excellent cook and at baking, but their steam buns have me coming back for more. Xing Wang Bakery offers a variety of dim sum options, Chinese takeout staples, and steam buns. An order of cheungfun (beef rice noodle rolls) is generous and fresh. The restaurant has plenty of seating, is clean, and offers free parking. They accept cash or e-transfer. However, the entrance only has stairs and does not have wheelchair accessibility. They also sell frozen dim sum and a unique Chinese round doughnut. The shrimp dumpling were good. Sticky rice was good. The buns were bland. Absolutely fantastic dim sum, easily the best. The rice rolls were smooth and delicate, filled with flavorful BBQ pork. The beef chow fun had that perfect wok hei smoky, savoury, and not greasy. The char siu bao were soft and fluffy with a generous amount of filling. The xiao long bao were juicy and well-wrapped, with a rich broth. The siu mai and har gow were both excellent too, plump, fresh, and balanced. The food portions are good, and the price is reasonable.
