Great place for vietnamese food. Everything is great there. My go to all the time is the chicken roti, chicken salad, and the rare beef dish. All the soup dishes are massive portions so share if you don't have a large appetite.

Food was good the first time I had them. Called to order take out. I could hear them despite the tremendous background noise but instantly they went to saying they could not hear me. They asked me to call back and promptly send me to voice mail five(5) times after wards including an old bullshit were closed due to covid disclaimer voice-mail.

We came here with a group of 12 people. They are doing a take on vietnamese dishes. It's more of a fusion and the more authentic dishes were a miss. Vermicelli with hot noodles was a little different, the vegtable pho was a vegtable broth with no other flavors. Service was horrific. Food took long, staff missed orders. We had all eaten paid for the meal and had to ask again about my aunt's dish. 2 hours since we sat down they brought the food out and the bill for the dish. So they forgot about the fish and still charged us. Was excited to try this place, walked out very disappointed.

Our household tried XO Bistro for the first time recently and am kicking myself for not trying them sooner! We called in an order and they were super accommodating our food preferences (great vegetarian options to choose from). Our pickup was ready quickly, and their banh mi is next level- love the peanut sauce and the diner type fries they're served with.
Looking forward to eating there because the atmosphere was real cute.

This is the worst Vietnamese restaurant that I have ever been to. I ordered the Spicy Salted Egg Yolk Prawns and the Bun Rieu noodle. Firstly, the Prawns tasted like rubber and were very hard to chew. Then, the noodles were very short, and there were only two tiny shrimps and strange patties that tasted terrible. Lastly, after bringing it up with the waiter, they were visibly angry, but they didn't apologize or perform any proper actions. I'm extremely disappointed with the quality of the food.
There are more than 100 Vietnamese restaurants in Edmonton. XO is one of the very best. Try the oxtail pho!

Arrived at 9:28pm, been told they have to ask the kitchen if they close already, 9:30pm, the answer is yes. Wow, nowadays restaurants start rejecting people over half an hour before closing time?
