If you want to wait for 20 minutes even to be asked for your order go here. Worst service ever. There’s way under staffed. Owner needs to hire more people or else increase their staff.

it's on the canada day 2025 . we order paneer makhni and cauliflower 65 . it's a worst food i have ever eat in canada. paneer makhni is too sour like lemon and cauliflower is not hot while serving and not crispy at all . we order champ as well i feel roti and champ tastes same. i will never recommend this restaurant to anyone. when we tell the waiter (girl) that cauliflower is cold she just pick it up and may be try to heat it for 10,20 seconds when they again serve it it's still cold tastes very bad .

This place is a nightmare for you if you are picking up order for skip the dishes. No matter what if you are picking up small order or large order, you have to wait every single time you are here. Today i came to pick up a order that was a cup of tea. These guys have me wait 15 min for that.

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at a Nepali restaurant, Y-not Indian Kitchen and Bar, today. The ambience of the restaurant was nothing short of spectacular, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately set the tone for a delightful evening.

What I appreciated the most was how fresh and clean the restaurant felt. Unlike many other Indian restaurants, there was absolutely no overpowering smell as we walked in, which made the experience even more pleasant and relaxing.

The food was simply outstanding—delicious, extremely fresh, and perfectly spiced. It’s clear that great attention is paid to the quality and preparation of each dish. Being a new restaurant, everything from the seating arrangements to the tableware felt modern and attractive, adding to the overall charm.

Overall, Y not Indian offers a fantastic dining experience. Whether you’re craving authentic Nepalese/Indian cuisine or simply looking for a great evening out, this restaurant is worth visiting!

Generally I find Y-Nots food that is found in mall food courts to be perfectly acceptable food court fare but nothing spectacular. So, imagine my surprise when I came to their restaurant and found a dining experience that exceeded my expectations by a lot. Their Chicken Tikka Masala was exceptional and I really enjoyed the freshly prepared naan. The paneer was good with big chunks of cheese and the chat papti was an interesting change from what I have had before.
The service was a bit slow but didn’t have a significant impact on the overall experience.
Overall I was really impressed and would recommend people check it out. It’s just off whyte ave so it also benefits from being in the heart of the action without having to worry about traffic and parking.

Absolutely delicious!!! Came with 2 friends and we ordered butter chicken, a vegetable curry, Hakka noodles, naan, and rice came with the curries. We were stuffed and had leftovers and it worked out to $20 a person. Super impressed and will definitely be ordering take out from here when I’m craving Indian food.

Great experience dining here with my family. Went on a Saturday for the buffet. It was surprisingly not busy. I expect that will change when word gets out.
