Best butter chicken, we used to go to a different location before they moved and we were very hopeful it would be the exact same recipe and it was! Will be back

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at a Nepali restaurant, Y-not Indian Kitchen and Bar, today. The ambience of the restaurant was nothing short of spectacular, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately set the tone for a delightful evening.

What I appreciated the most was how fresh and clean the restaurant felt. Unlike many other Indian restaurants, there was absolutely no overpowering smell as we walked in, which made the experience even more pleasant and relaxing.

The food was simply outstanding—delicious, extremely fresh, and perfectly spiced. It’s clear that great attention is paid to the quality and preparation of each dish. Being a new restaurant, everything from the seating arrangements to the tableware felt modern and attractive, adding to the overall charm.

Overall, Y not Indian offers a fantastic dining experience. Whether you’re craving authentic Nepalese/Indian cuisine or simply looking for a great evening out, this restaurant is worth visiting!

Generally I find Y-Nots food that is found in mall food courts to be perfectly acceptable food court fare but nothing spectacular. So, imagine my surprise when I came to their restaurant and found a dining experience that exceeded my expectations by a lot. Their Chicken Tikka Masala was exceptional and I really enjoyed the freshly prepared naan. The paneer was good with big chunks of cheese and the chat papti was an interesting change from what I have had before.
The service was a bit slow but didn’t have a significant impact on the overall experience.
Overall I was really impressed and would recommend people check it out. It’s just off whyte ave so it also benefits from being in the heart of the action without having to worry about traffic and parking.

Absolutely delicious!!! Came with 2 friends and we ordered butter chicken, a vegetable curry, Hakka noodles, naan, and rice came with the curries. We were stuffed and had leftovers and it worked out to $20 a person. Super impressed and will definitely be ordering take out from here when I’m craving Indian food.

Great experience dining here with my family. Went on a Saturday for the buffet. It was surprisingly not busy. I expect that will change when word gets out.

I did not have the buffet but my Tuesday night take out order was exceptional. The naan bread portions were more than satisfactory and the taste of every dish was amazing.
If I was a teenager I would definitely consider this place ā€œBussinā€ … no cap.
Good luck finding parking on the weekends though but it’s worth the walk if you manage to find a spot relatively close by.
