Home away from home when I am missing real Jamaican food. Thanks for the good service

I decided on a whim to try an app and try this place because I have been so let down since moving to Edmonton. I cannot say enough about how good the food here is and how authentic it is. I have not found anywhere in Alberta that is close to home food until here. They even beat my favourite place down in Etobicoke. I am so sad I have lived here so long and not known this exists. The man who took my order was kind, asked if I had any allergies. I will be back, and often, probably tomorrow. The small thing I got at end of the day is perfect for my work lunches. You will not find a better Jamaican restaurant. Glad I finally found a place that feels like home

The food is amazing. I'd say it's the best Jamaican food in Edmonton. 5/5 stars for the food. 3/5 stars for service though because they don't always have what's on the menu.

I ordered the large plate ($24) of oxtail and got 3 pieces of oxtail..... Literally..... Be mindful that the meat to rice ratio is totally out of proportion.

Best Jamaican food I've had in Edmonton hands down! And possibly some of the best I've had in Canada (Toronto included). Ordered the jerk chicken and oxtail. Well seasoned. Rice and peas was very flavourful too!

I went to Yardy Sweet Spot for the first time tonight. Because I was by myself, I got a take out dish. The wait was very short for my order, and the counter staff lady was pleasant and talkative. I told her was my first time there, and she recommended a dish that was flavourful and spicy yet not over bearing on my tastebuds. Excellent recommendation as I devoured the dish in record time. Highly recommend for value of the food, the flavours and the quaint atmosphere.Week done!! ???

I don’t even have to talk just look at the picture ??? FOOD WELL BLESS ??I had it for the first time on Saturday and came back the next day Sunday cause this yah food nah miss me !!!! As aBajan?? /Jamaican?? who was raised in Toronto (that has an infinite amount of Jamaican restaurant options) , I’ve been living in Edmonton for 10+ years now and I been complaining about the Jamaican food access here for restaurants so I’m beyond happy this place exist. And they are open on SUNDAY !!!! Yea I’m real happy and as a foodie trust me I wouldn’t give them the stars I did if they didn’t deserve it, plus the cakes they sell are so good . I tried them all and ate them all lol …. 10/10 for everything ? … PLEASE DONT CLOSE !
