Amazing place for groups and/or a couple to go celebrate a special occasion in a dimly lit, open concept art gallery. Zinc restaurant is the place to be if you are young, hip and looking for a good time! Looking forward to my next visit already. Always good food and great service. Very beautiful venue as well. The wine list is amazing and the steaks are always cooked to perfection.

As a mid way snack during the Art Gallery tour, it was a fairtly reasonable place to eat. There were enough options to choose from

Came for Brunch. Beautiful room, nice atmosphere and really good food.We had the braised beef eggs Benedict and the lobster bacon avocado eggs Benedict. Delicious and perfectly cooked eggs! Only reason the review isn’t 5 stars is there was only one tiny chunk of lobster on the eggs Benny. Braised beef option was loaded with beef. Impressive service from Caitlin! Will be back for sure

Great classy high end restaurant. Quality food and service. Special dining experience. Higher priced too, but not overpriced. Must visit for great authentic dining experience and special atmosphere created by its artistic interior and professional staff.

Zinc restaurant was a pleasant surprise! I took my mom out for supper for her last day in Edmonton. She ordered medium rare Alberta beef Tenderloin and this is the FIRST TIME she didn’t ask the server to send them back to kitchen.. wow I was surprised. Excellent food and service. Zinc is the one of the best restaurant in Edmonton for sure.

Such a terrible experience. A group of us went here for brunch. Both the server and kitchen seemed overwhelmed even though we were the only table in the restaurant. The coffee was the worst coffee I've ever tasted; it was oily! Possibly the vessel used to serve it was previously used for a sauce or jus and wasn't properly cleaned. The Banana Bread French Toast was horrendous and embarrassing to serve. It consisted of three slices of extremely dry, thin, and old bread that had zero banana flavour (they seemed like week old store bought pieces of bread), a smear of white chocolate hidden underneath, because it looked terrible, and a drizzle of caramel, which the bread immediately soaked up because of its dryness. The dish was also supposed to come with fruit, of which there was none. Other guests were served raw potatoes with their meals, and some meals arrived after others had already finished theirs. There was no help, apology, or anything done in form of bill adjustment from management or a supervisor. Zinc has a lot of work to do! Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere for a bite to eat when visiting the Art Gallery of Alberta.

Zinc catering did an amazing job catering for our opening reception with the Bissell Centre. They communicated regularly in a personal and friendly manner, gave us a lot of options, and carefully catered to the special needs of our community. I can't say enough about how grateful we are to them for their kindness. To top off everything else, the staff person who handed out food was very professional and considerate towards everyone attending. Thank you Zinc! I plan to invite friends to the restaurant as I am so impressed with the atmosphere and attitude on the part of the staff. This is a business that cares.

Blue Crab Yorkshire Pudding with Caesar salad was splendid. The Clubhouse had a huge piece of chicken and the gallery salad with grilled artichoke and citrus vinaigrette was very tasty.

I work downtown (have for years) and finally decided to stop at the Zinc for lunch with a co-worker after walking past many times. First thing I noticed was the architecture. Granted Zinc is located inside the AGA and obviously had to follow a certain classy and elegant style and it was achieved with the chrome decor and wide windows. The selection on the lunch menu was not overly large but had just enough variety and was reasonably priced. The "glass of wine for half price" during lunch was really tempting but I sadly had to pass. Food was delicious - it was served quickly, tasted fresh and the peach vinaigrette on the Gallery Salad was lovely. Service was pleasant and prompt although the male server and possibly supervisor or owner was clearly not dressed to match the establishment (untucked t-shirt underneath a blazer over linen pants that fell short to the ankle paired with loafers minus the socks). He was very friendly but looked out of place with his choice of "careless" attire. Otherwise, thank you for the wonderful meal and the lovely experience.

My family and I recently watched a wedding at Zinc. Everything was well put together.
