Grilled octopus was terrible and extremely overcooked. The rest of the food was good. Service was so disjointed... it was Valentine's Day weekend, so I'm guessing the tables were all different and split into 2, but we got asked about food/drink orders multiple times and then no one came for awhile. It was just a kind of weird experience. Would not recommend the octopus, but the kebab platter was good.
What I love about Zula's is that you can rely on the taste and high quality of the food and the terrific overall experience...very consistent! The friends we were with hadn't been before. They were very impressed and said they definitely be back.
The food here is AMAZING!! I first went with a few girlfriends and then again last night with my husband. I had a special table request which they honored with no issue and on both occasions the service and food delivery is impeccable. Our meals were excellent in taste, presentation and temperature, all 5 stars! Also, I love that the owner, Yuksel, visits the diners and talks to each of his guests. The personal touches is what makes this restaurant stand apart. I will be going...
