The restaurant is closed “for vacation”.
25$ for one person. And wih a can of pop. Total was 30$And portions were so small i left and was still hungry. It looked like alot on the menu . Meal only came with tiny coleslaw and even that had hardly any dressing . Left a tip because the service was great . But won't go back ☹️
This place is my all time favourite comfort food. The ladies are always so nice and welcoming! The vermicelli is the best of the best! Always fresh ingredients, never disappointing.

Best asian food in edson. Better than a lot of places in Edmonton. I always stop at Coconut Tree on the way to Jasper.

Attempted the fried chicken for lunch today. Comes cut up into strips. Chicken was raw. Not under cooked - raw. There is little excuse to serve uncooked chicken that has been cut up after cooking and put on the plate. Ended up going across the street. Disappointing to say the least.
Their fried rice is okay, the curries are all good, but I find it really difficult to sample all of their menu items as the #1 house vermicelli bowl is absolutely excellent and I tend to order it when I eat there.

I came in for a late lunch and ordered the daily combination plate, which was pricier than combos at many similar restaurants but also better quality and plenty large. My only substantial critique is that the fried rice was bland, I like mine with some green onion, garlic, fish sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, etc... the real deal. But the pork, and ginger beef were top notch.
The Coconut Tree has just moved to a new location, it's nice. I like the quaintness of the previous location down the street but this is nonetheless an improvement.
