I’m probably the only person that orders the seafood and mixed vegetables. It’s really good!!! No noodles just some veg with shrimp, squid, and scallops. Love it. I like the green cakes too with some soya sauce and a cold local brew.

For $20 I got a combo which consisted of: -a flat room temperature soda poured from a near empty pitcher.-3 "chicken" balls that were mostly soggy bread-2 spring rolls-a mountain of "chicken Chow Mein", this is in quotations because it was not Chow Mein, it was a half a plate of bean sprouts, with a small handful of dry Chow mien noodles and chicken on top. No sauce, no seasoning, no reason to be served.-chicken fried rice- and some sweet and sour pork that earned a 2nd star, it was good. And after paying the bill, I walked out with a fortune cookie that had been crushed to the point where the air had been squeezed out and was easier to pour directly into my mouth rather than my hands.

No flavor. Wasted my money and ended up buying food from else where

Just moved to Edson so this was my first visit. The menu is huge, we chose the Chinese combos, mom had Combo D, I chose combo E. The food was tasty with large portions. I asked about pick up, delivery and room service. They do offer delivery for a $3 charge, pick up is free and if you're staying at the Best Western the offer room service. Monday-Friday buffet from 12-2 pm. Friday, Saturday and Sunday buffet from 5-9pm.I'm surprised this restaurant is busier as it's very good. I'll definitely be returning and telling my peeps to go try it put also. Yummy. ?

Older decor but the food makes up for that. Large portions & very well prepared. Great service. Comparatively priced. Would eat here again

Had breakfast there two times, their French toast is pretty good but could use some cinnamon and sugar. I liked their sausages, but my bacon isn't the best. But their hashbrowns? To DIE for. Service is pretty fast. My waitress gave me a dirty cup but quickly was able to give a new and cleaner cup. Pretty nice atmosphere. Though huge serving sizes, so pack an extra stomach!

Awesome friendly service, love the food, and my paralyzes never curdle.

Terrible service and only passable food. Screwed up my order then charged me extra later for it. I didn't have change for the money I "owed" so the server just took the whole bill with a concieted "thanks." Don't waste your time, it's not worth it.

Consistency from the kitchen and the service staff. Quick food but not rushing the clientele.

This is probably one of the best places I have had the pleasure of eating steak and eggs at for breakfast. Had breakfast at this little restaurant for a week, while staying at the Best Western High Road Inn in Edson, AB. Firstly, this location is based in the BW High Road Inn. It's pretty casual and relaxed. I had breakfast vouchers from the BW, which gives you about 4-6 breakfast options you exchange your voucher for. Or if your willing to pay extra, there's an extended breakfast menu. Which still uses up your breakfast voucher, but gives you a lot more to choose from at a subsidize price. I honestly believe you get more food (which is pretty important, if you have an appetite quite like mine). The servers were always very kind, pleasant and respectful; the mornings can be a bit busy but they will always seat you promptly if they see you entering the restaurant. From there on, you have access to "all you can drink coffee" as you browse their menu offerings. I personally had the "Egg Breakfast" which composes of 2 eggs, a choice of 2 strips of bacon, 2 thin slices of ham, or 2 breakfast sausages, hash browns and 2 slices of toast. I love eggs, so I would always opt to add an additional 2 which will took me back $3. I switched it up each day; first day I had ham, which was very thin, but good. Just enough for your mind to realize it's having some other sort of protein. Second day had me going for the bacon, fairly thin cut bacon as well; but still good bacon. Third day I had the breakfast sausage, which I believe is probably the better option of the 3. They offer a bit more meat then the other two. Fourth day, I upgraded, decided to try the steak and eggs. Medium rare, with salt & pepper or steak spice whichever they had, 2(2) eggs, hash browns & whole-wheat toast w/ peanut butter (+ $3 for additional 2 eggs). The steak was so delicious, had me very thankful and appreciative of the fact that my medium rare steak was exactly as I requested. Can't take those little minuté details for granted, if the dining experience is important to you. Overall, I always felt welcomed and left well fed at this restaurant; make sure to check this location out if you happen to be in the Edson area.

Do not order the chinese. Thick sugar coated and not what they advertise.. Example Chow mein with no noodles. Terrible. But its in a hotel and its open early and late. The prices are all over the map. I dont like giving bad reviews but ordering chow mein and not getting noodles is like ordering a black coffee and having it come with liquid sugar. Things are what they are and if you are going to go rogue then you might deserve to lose customers. And what did come was like bad mall food. Worth 5 bucks a plate not 20.
