Mountain Steak Pizza and Restaurant in Edson is absolutely worth the stop! The food is fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions , their steaks are cooked perfectly and their pizza is loaded with toppings. You can tell they take pride in both quality and taste.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! It’s been a while since I’ve had this bad of an experience with a restaurant. In Edson for work and decided to try a local steakhouse. The order was about 20 minutes late to start with. I ordered the steak and greens with a side of “jumbo shrimp”. Three tiny ice cold pieces of shrimp are what they constitute as jumbo. The steak was supposed to be a tenderloin, but looked and tasted suspiciously like a sirloin. Forgot the greens altogether. Boyfriend got the chicken parmigiana. I’m not sure in what world chicken parmigiana is not breaded, but this poor excuse version was simply just thrown on a bed of sticky spaghetti and baked with cheese. Inedible really. Spent over $80 for neither one of us to be even close to full. I highly recommend NOT eating here. Absolutely terrible restaurant!!!

What a surprise! For a small-town restaurant, the steak here is really good. The service was welcoming, and the food was much better than I imagined. Prices are fair. I’ll definitely be back and recommend it to others!

Found Mountain Pizza & Steak House on Google Maps on our way to Edmonton, an unplanned dinner stop which turned out to be delightful. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the food was delicious. I had the baked ravioli, my wife had the chicken parmigiana, and my son had the pepperoni and ham pizza. Prices were very reasonable and service was top-notch. Skip the fast food and stop by here for a real sit-down meal when passing through Edson, Alberta.

Coming from Edmonton, I decided to stop in at Mountain Pizza on my way to my campsite. A friend who grew up in Edson recommended I try it out. The restaurant has a cool exterior with an enclosed patio near the entrance and a cabin-like feel inside the dining area. As you enter you'll find the takeout area. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. I ordered a small Pepperoni/Mushroom pizza to go and it was delicious!! Pepperoni and Mushroom are my go-to toppings - especially when trying a new pizza place. This version makes my top 3 list of places that make great Pepp-Mush pizza! The crust, sauce and toppings tasted so fresh and delicious I almost finished the whole thing before I reached my destination!!! I'll definitely be back to eat in the restaurant and try other dishes. Highly recommend!

This is not just a good restaurant for Edson or a small town, This is simply one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. Place was packed and the service was still amazingly attentive. The food, oh my god, the food was flavorful, cooked perfectly, and high quality meats. The steak is fabulous. Just when I thought it peaked, the homemade cheesecake blew my mind. Wish I lived closer. This would be the new spot. Everytime.
