Johnny's Restaurant Reviews
Just your run of the mill restaurant featuring Chinese food. I expected with all the accolades on the wall about the award winning chef that the food would be spectacular but it was just average. Not bad, just the same as every other Asian food restaurant. The diner is nice but it is very dated. The menu selections are huge though, so you won’t have any issues finding something you like.
The sweetest, friendliest couple and the most delicious food! One of our kids was craving soup and her favourite is wor-wonton and that’s what swung it for us to eat here. The soup was seasoned perfectly and the food was plentiful and delicious. Very kid friendly!
Very good! The food was fresh and delicious. The service was so friendly and fast.

Johnny's Restaurant is a clean and welcoming establishment serving Chinese-Western fusion dishes. The owners are kind and talkative, providing fast and amazing service. The restaurant features a red seal chef, and the food is fresh and tasty. Breakfast dishes include delicious, actual fried potatoes for the hashbrowns. The wonton soup has a clear broth with a hint of sesame oil, and the wontons are tender. However, some may find the food to be similar to Chinese buffet dishes and appreciate more seasoning and variety. The interior is spacious, vintage, and retro, fitting in with the street's shops. It is a hidden gem with zero health inspection violations and can accommodate large groups.
