Bear & Buffalo Bar / Restaurant

First time coming here, table of 4 and place was fairly empty. 2 of the our dinners came out at close to room temperature. I ordered the burger and poutine, the lettuce was half wilted and tomato’s looked like they were sliced from the previous shift, patty itself was dry(for being a chuck burger) and clearly didn’t just come off the grill, sat for a bit before was brought to the table. The pasta dish that was ordered was not warm at all either, which had been sitting. Clearly the chef last night doesn’t know how to time a simple order for a table of 4. On top of that when I ordered dessert the server came back and advised me that was the old dessert menu and didnt carry that item any longer. I’ll give it a 1/5, poutine was good but disappointed in almost every other aspect of my meal.

food is subpar but the view if you sit out on the patio is really great! worth getting drinks and sitting outside, not worth anything else.

Easily the best patio in town, I always bring guests to Fort McMurray here to show off the natural beauty. Food is always great, killer reuben sandwich and love the peanut butter burger. Friendly staff who take the time to get to know you, too!

Ok, I saw a bear. 10/10 before even the food got there.

This place is gorgeous. The covered patio is stunning. Service fantastic, drinks are good prices are reasonable but the only downfall was the food. Small portions for the price and subpar quality. I will definitely go back for drinks!

We had an incredible dinner last night. It was the Chef's Menu especially prepared by Chef Darwin for our 50th wedding anniversary. We've eaten there before off their regular menu and always enjoyed our dinners. We will come back.

The restaurant is nice, patio is great on a warm day, and service is friendly. The food is okay, the menu has a lot of unique items that they don't always pull off. Breakfast/ brunch is good, but the execution of the main menu is underwhelming

Food is extremely bland no flavor, and ridiculously overpriced

I got a bacon cheeseburger with Caesar salad my wife got a salad with salmon and a drink and it was $75 not including tip.

Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was less than satisfactory. We opted to sit on the patio as the restaurant was full and anticipated that our food/drinks would take some time. However, the wait for both food and drinks was exceptionally long. We waited nearly two hours for our food to make it to our table. By that point, the table who was sat after us had already received their meals. Our server's comments about the kitchen's inefficiency were unprofessional and did not alleviate the frustration of the wait. When our meals finally arrived, my partner's order was incorrect, and my salad had no dressing. Until the restaurant resolves its staffing issues and improves service, I would advise saving your money and dining elsewhere.
