Tonight I did a mobile order to the wrong location, I was going to do another order and the young man(I believe his name was Alex) told me not to worry about it and made me my coffees. After a long day that was less than spectacular that kindness really cheered me up”

Tonight I came in rather late and Simran was the only one working ten minutes before close and she had six people ordering (of which I was the third). She spent a careful moment with each person and flew through us all with no effort. While even checking on a child coughing to get him some water. “The wide variety of foods and deserts makes Cedars downtown a must try. A hidden gem in our little city. Everything I have had is beyond delicious. The staff are so knowledgeable and friendly. A great place to take the whole family. I highly recommend trying it if you haven’t, you will be back.”

My only issue is they only have one location and it's in Mac Island. Great for those who can go there all the time. I wish they had a location outside of the island and more downtown or uptown with a drive thru.

Other than that, the coffee is great and the food is good as well!

From the beginning, Surekha was incredibly responsive, organized, and accommodating, which made planning everything so easy and stress-free. The food was amazing, the drinks were delicious, and every guest had wonderful things to say. Our server, Brandon, was outstanding. He managed our entire group by himself and did it with such professionalism and kindness. He was patient, funny, attentive, and made sure everyone had everything they needed throughout the event. Surekha’s on the Snye truly went above and beyond to make our celebration special. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for great food, amazing service, and a welcoming atmosphere.”

“I’m from Toronto and travel the country for work but this is honestly the best or one of the best takeout spots I’ve ever ordered from. I ordered the beef & broccoli with fried rice and it was bursting with flavour. They are fast with their cooking. I wasn’t expecting much before I tried but after eating the spring roll and how good it was, I was excited to get into the meal and it didn’t disappoint. If I’m back in the area, I’m definitely coming back!”

“absolutely amazing service, came in with my friend to JUST to browse and was immediately overwhelmed with how much they had. there is so many choices !! one of the staff came up to chat and offered us a couple samples. he told us to look around while he got it together. once he was done he sat us down at a table and brought us two plates one with chicken shawarma with a side of hummus and a garlic sauce (DELICIOUS highly recommended) and a plate of some pastries. everything was so good and we both left with snacks.”

The owner cares about their tenants and makes sure everything is running smoothly. The security and lighting make the building feel very safe. We were welcomed by the Chef herself, she had mistaken my friend for someone and we struck up a conversation. It felt like I was talking to a friend I've known for years. I mentioned I was looking for the best Eggs Benny in the Mac and they did not disappoint. The Hollandaise sauce is thick and creamy, the perfect texture and flavor. Not too lemony, not too eggy, my medium poached eggs were perfect, jammy yolk, soft velvety whites. Perfectly toasted English muffin and a delicious piece of salty ham to round it all off. Molly's is the place to go for a warm hearty breakfast that feels like home. Coffee was good too 👌 All in all an excellent place to stop for homemade, stick to your belly comfort food. I WILL be back.”

“We ordered the Classic Beef Burrito and the Small Beef Taco Salad. The Taco Salad was our favourite. It was fresh and tasted really good.

The burrito had good flavour, but we added rice and it wasn’t worth it. There were only a few dry grains, and you could barely tell the rice was even there. Every time we came across it, it was so dry that we picked it out.

We’d order the Taco Salad again, but we hope the rice is better next time.”

“I always buy my beef and chicken shawarma wraps from this place. Their meat is so flavourful and always fresh. They customize it to your taste however you want it to keep you happy. The lady(owner) was very good with the orders but they hired two other guys so ordering over the phone can be difficult. I usually order when Noy is working he is good with the orders and packaging the wrap so it doesn’t fall out of the bread. Their sauces don’t give you bad breaths. I highly recommend this place over any other Mediterranean places in the city. They are even better than majority of the places I have had in Calgary or Edmonton.”

“Honestly, my overall experience with this restaurant has been really great. As a newcomer to Fort McMurray, one of the first things I searched for was “Filipino restaurant,” and this place came up. I read the reviews before trying it, including some of the negative ones, but I didn’t want other people’s opinions to decide my experience for me. Just like any restaurant, there will always be people who have had good and bad experiences. But if we’re talking about the quality and taste of the food, this is one of the closest things to “home” for me. Some people might find the food a little pricey, but honestly, there aren’t many cheap restaurants anymore. The $17 budget meal I usually order gives me enough food that it can last me until dinner. The portions are generous, especially when you dine in, and if you can’t finish your ulam, you can always take it home and pair it with some rice later.
For me, the taste, portions, and feeling of having Filipino food that reminds me of home make it worth it.”
