Thanks again everyone for going out of your way for us after a long day and a skip screwed up!”

“I actually enjoy Second Cup a lot better than a certain other coffee chain.

My only issue is they only have one location and it's in Mac Island. Great for those who can go there all the time. I wish they had a location outside of the island and more downtown or uptown with a drive thru.

Other than that, the coffee is great and the food is good as well!

Please consider opening up one up with a drive thru! 🙏”

From the beginning, Surekha was incredibly responsive, organized, and accommodating, which made planning everything so easy and stress-free. The food was amazing, the drinks were delicious, and every guest had wonderful things to say. Our server, Brandon, was outstanding. He managed our entire group by himself and did it with such professionalism and kindness. He was patient, funny, attentive, and made sure everyone had everything they needed throughout the event. Surekha’s on the Snye truly went above and beyond to make our celebration special. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for great food, amazing service, and a welcoming atmosphere.”

After the order being taken very efficiently at the intercom, pulled up to the window KP was so great passed me a napkin to clean the snow off the edge of my window, got me to put my phone number in which I wasn’t going to bother and saved us $10. The subs are great too. So many places have shitty service and just shove the debit machine out the window so he was very refreshing . Give this guy a raise ❤️”

“This A&W is the reason I'm surviving my midnight shifts. No clue how its possible but I swear I see Norraine and Gian in there every night, serving me my tasty food with extra tomatoes and a smile.
Big shoutout to Norraine and Gian for keeping me fed at night and to the day shift team for all the random mornings I've swung by and stolen all their non-squishy tomatoes hehehe.

(4 out of 5 on food is because of A&W's fries, not specifically at this location, but at every A&W Ever since like 2010 when they changed suppliers. The chicken is good, the beef is pretty good, the bacon's not great, and the tomatoes are usually pretty not funky fresh at most locations.)

Even with that, I find this specific location to be full of people like Gian and Norraine who are much more willing to search for the fresh tomato slices for those willing to pay extra for them.

I know their names because I see them basically nightly. Not sure how thats possible or legal but I've seen Norraine specifically serve me food 4 times within 24hrs. 4am, 7am, 9pm, and 2am. Holy cow, what a trooper. Drive thru crew 4 lyfe amirite?”

The temp says it’s only 12C but the AC was cranked up. Why do we need that cold? I was frozen! My feet, my arm, etc etc etc ugh frozen 🥶 it was sooo uncomfortable! Turn off the AC unless it’s really warm, like 21C 22C

“I ordered 10 mcdoubles in the drive-thru at 10:58 (2 mins before lunch) and they were able to accomodate!! The lady who took my order was SO efficient and didn't make me feel akward or nervous. The next lady who brough the food out to my car was soooo friendly and sweet. Awesome location!”

“Yoshi has been my favourite restaurant since I was a kid, with very reasonable prices and delicious Japanese cuisine. Returning to town after 6 years away, I went back to try it again. Yoshi now has a new name and location but the same quality and affordability. Thank you for making me fall in love with Japanese food all those years ago!”

“absolutely amazing service, came in with my friend to JUST to browse and was immediately overwhelmed with how much they had. there is so many choices !! one of the staff came up to chat and offered us a couple samples. he told us to look around while he got it together. once he was done he sat us down at a table and brought us two plates one with chicken shawarma with a side of hummus and a garlic sauce (DELICIOUS highly recommended) and a plate of some pastries. everything was so good and we both left with snacks.”

“I'm from out of town and have been here twice and I've had a great experience each time. The NYF in my town never uses enough gravy, there's always fries that are dry with no gravy. This location uses a ton!! Which is so fair for the price. It's also always really clean and tidy. If the line is long it goes by quick because the staff are really efficient. Would love to see them expand and get a bigger spot for more tables!”

The owner cares about their tenants and makes sure everything is running smoothly. The security and lighting make the building feel very safe. “Went to Molly's for the first time on the 16th of February 2026 with a gal pal. The environment is warm & inviting, it feels like grandma's kitchen. We were welcomed by the Chef herself, she had mistaken my friend for someone and we struck up a conversation. It felt like I was talking to a friend I've known for years. I mentioned I was looking for the best Eggs Benny in the Mac and they did not disappoint. The Hollandaise sauce is thick and creamy, the perfect texture and flavor. Not too lemony, not too eggy, my medium poached eggs were perfect, jammy yolk, soft velvety whites. Perfectly toasted English muffin and a delicious piece of salty ham to round it all off. Molly's is the place to go for a warm hearty breakfast that feels like home. Coffee was good too 👌 All in all an excellent place to stop for homemade, stick to your belly comfort food. “I always buy my beef and chicken shawarma wraps from this place. Their meat is so flavourful and always fresh. They customize it to your taste however you want it to keep you happy. The lady(owner) was very good with the orders but they hired two other guys so ordering over the phone can be difficult. I usually order when Noy is working he is good with the orders and packaging the wrap so it doesn’t fall out of the bread. Their sauces don’t give you bad breaths. I highly recommend this place over any other Mediterranean places in the city. They are even better than majority of the places I have had in Calgary or Edmonton.”
