I have always been a customer for a solid decade now since the Downtown branch. I love coming here for several reasons. Good food, great portion, great prices! Unfortunately, it's not the same as it used to be. Given the economy and prices, I can't say I blame them. But prices went up, and food portions went down. Still, I go here once in a while as the food has and will probably always be great!
I've not had shawarma previously, but I have to say that the food here was delicious! I had planned to take photos, but we were well into our meals before I remembered.
We ordered a beef shawarma platter, a chicken shawarma platter, and a spicy chicken shawarma platter. They were all delicious, and the spicy platter had curried rice rather than regular, and I think I would order that one next time. It was mildly spiced, but the curry added another layer of flavor....
