Coffee Shop Fort McMurray

5 stars 🌟 +++. From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed. The place was busy, but Sanjay greeted me with a smile and fast and efficient service. The Avenue Breakfast was phenomenal. No grease, cooked to perfection and portion size was just right. Great value for the price! I can honestly say this was the best breakfast I’ve had in McMurray. I highly recommend this place.

I have had great experiences here in the past, as a location you can grab a drink, have a seat and enjoy it with no rush. Came with a friend and was here for just over an hour, and the server asked us if we were planning on staying much longer. Well, we hadn’t finished what we came in to do, so we were, but at this point we no longer felt welcome. The server cited the busyness of the cafe as the reason - there were empty dirty tables, and nobody waiting (we looked), so we left and relocated elsewhere. Definitely not in a rush to come back, and will most definitely give my business to another venue in the future.

I picked up a Chai tea Latte to go and Tumina was such a great server, made my drink immediately and added a smile too. 😀 she made me feel special as a customer. the chai tea was wonderful.

Went for Breakfast yesterday. I tried eggs Florentine and my husband has the breakfast burger. Both were so good. Good Food, Great service and a fun atmosphere. We will be back.

We love eating at Avenue Cafe! I truly believe it's the best place in Fort McMurray! However, we have a consistent concern, every time we go....service is slow. So much so that my husband swears he won't return. Here is an explanation of our last experience: March 11 2023 we were in the restaurant by 10:30 am. We sat and it took approx. 15 minutes for drinks and to take our order (2 coffees, chocolate milk, and a smoothie). The order came at approx. 11:15 am. Then it took 40-45 minutes for the check after we ate. It was so long that the people next to us even commented. We did not exit the restaurant until approx. 12:15 pm, almost 2 hours to take order, get food, eat, and get check. We have had similar experiences every time we have went to avenue. The last time it was about an hour and 15 minutes. This one was the worst. My husband and his friend waited 1/2 hr. for coffees one day. Just giving you this feedback. It is all right if you are not in a rush to be somewhere, but I def wouldn't recommend the restaurant if a family was on a tight schedule of an hour or less. (Based on our experiences there).
