Ordered Phill cheesesteak sandwich with fries. The meat had no taste, the fries were chunky potato strips, the sauce was 3/4 water.
Best food in town.
We just left here due to no service. 5 staff members chatting and on their phones at the bar, we waited about 10min and left. 2 of them made eye contact, so it's not like they didn't see us.
We dined on the patio, an comparing my last visit to this one, it's has been a couple years, but what a difference with presentation on the patio! The food was okay! Our server was new but really the highlight of the evening. However, I won't be going back any time soon. Mainly due to ambiance and presentation. Not the ideal outdoor location for dinner. Appears to be downgraded since the last visit. Just not the same feel!
Juliet is the most amazing server in the world! Super sweet, funny, cute and helpful! Love her🥰
Delicious drinks and food
Best quality napkins in all Fort McMurray!
Seventy Two Kitchen used to be our favourite spot after our Sunday morning sport routine. After playing for a couple of hours, we were always starving, and it was convenient to pop into Seventy Two, especially with the discount for Mac Island members.
Unfortunately, we've stopped going since they changed the menu. It now feels too fancy for what we want, and they don’t even serve breakfast or brunch anymore, which used to be our go-to choice for our group of 5 to 7 people. After a sweaty game, all we crave is simple comfort food—not something like elk bolognese. My father-in-law refuses to go there now, so we’ve started stopping at Earl's or EVP on our way home.
It’s such a bummer! We’ve shared our concerns with the wait staff (who are great!), and they mentioned that they often hear similar feedback. It's really disappointing because we would love to keep supporting the restaurant.
Was on a short trip to Fort McMurray from Edmonton and absolutely loved the whole experience!! Food and staff were amazing!

We had a great dinner at 72 patio with my family. There's a lot of creativity and modernity on the new menu. The price, presentation, and portion were all great. The chef explained allergens and ingredients to us when we had questions. It was an enjoyable experience we'll remember forever.

I eat here several times a week, and the new menu is a near total miss.
Its attempting to be fine dining with fine dining prices when its mostly folks coming in from sporting activities or from working out.
Its trying to cater to a clientelle that dosent exist.
The food IS great, but its the kind of pricing you might find at a restraunt on a cruise ship or resort, not from a restraunt tucked away in a rec center.
The service staff are fantastic still, though.

Went for dinner with the family after some hockey and found they changed their entire menu. It has changed so much that our kids wanted nothing on it. They eliminated any comfort foods from the new menu! Pretty sad that a laid back family restaurant seems to be trying to be a 5 star restaurant

This place was alright at best before today's now they have switched to some sort of fall menu and there is nothing the same on it. It's all some weird concoction of something else. Like you can't even order nachos, a normal burger, chicken tenders or even the kids pizza anymore! Why chance something that wasn't broken? Maybe add some new items but don't change everything! This is supposed to be a family restaurant for us to bring the whole family to after skating not a five star restaurant... Stop trying to be something you're not! You just lost 5 customers that came faithfully every week after our day at mac island!
