We decided to visit on the recommendation of friends, the door was open, the employees were there. We were very rudely turned away at the door, saying that it was closed.
Ruined day.

Love my bakery items from Cobbs- the staff are always pleasant, never rushed even if there's a line up, good variety of breads and pastries.
Highly recommend! Try their apricot raisin bread toasted with butter - yum!

My little sister is practicing to count coins and build confidence by buying on her own. I gave her change to buy us a loaf and a croissant. The two ladies working their today at around 10am were really kind and helpful. Not sure what their names are as I'm just sitting in the car waiting, but I'm very thankful they get to spread that kindness to my sister. 🫶
I also loved the cinnamon and brioche loafs here. Will definitely recommend!

COBS Bread always has fresh, delicious baked goods, and it’s still one of our favorite stops. We sure miss the core staff who were there for years—I feel like my son grew up seeing them twice a week. We also miss seeing the old owner, as we rarely get to interact with the new one. Some of our favorites sell out quickly, but the bread and treats keep us coming back!

May God forbid me ever meeting you again.
No more shall I gaze at your soul-breaking stare.
No stars, no sky shall ignite over us —
And you know this truth too well, I swear.
You’re gentle and lovely with morning’s glow,
And I’d carry you off in a heartbeat, no doubt,
But in the dusk, your silence grows —
You vanish by night, without a sound.
…
I waited so long, and I suffered in vain.
Ready to leave behind family and friends.
But with every nightfall, beneath the heavens,
You fade again — like a dream that ends.
I was lost in the sorrow your violet eyes bring,
So sweet was your sadness, so haunting, so deep...
But I now understand: you live in the distance,
And my heart lies frozen, where snow drifts sleep.
…
May God forbid me ever meeting you again.
I’ll try to forget you — to break this chain.
But joy and love now taste of tears…
There’s no one left for me to love again.
And sometimes, when your soul feels hollow,
and the world tastes like old memories and frost —
there’s warmth in the simplest thing:
A fresh loaf from Cobs Bread.
Still warm.
Still real.
Still here.
We don’t just sell bread — we tell stories that stay with you.
They were here.
And ever since, the bread’s been a little warmer.
