My friend and I had decided a few weeks back, however, to utilize our monthly coffee date to try every coffee shop type place in town. Today was Purple Crumbs Snack Bar.We walked in and I felt so warm and invited. They should also own a decore and horticulture business, not just a snack bar as the place was quaint, beautiful, compelling and comfortable. Bar stools or sofa chairs, wooden picnic tables or traditional tables. Whatever mood your tush was in, they had an option for it.Plants EVERYWHERE!!!! I LOVE greenery! I can't keep it ALIVE MYSELF, mind you (I don't think you're supposed to swear at plants as much as I do) but I admire it when others can. This place was lined with the vibrancy of life!Signage was thoughtful in that the imagery of what they had to offer was appealing but also descriptive, helping determine what content was, options, flavour, cost and more. I still ended up asking a few questions and they didn't make me feel as if I was the dearly annoying patron that I was. They answered each of my queries with integral smiles, humour and passion. They loved the food and beverages they make and you could see it in their eyes. This place was owned and operated with fervor.I chose a Korean Steak Bulgigi Bao as well as a Strawberry drink with almond milk (available milk alternatives were DF, oat, almond, LF or traditional half/half or milk). Cost $25 (worth it but maybe that's me). My friend had a Black Forest Cake cupcake and the same drink as I only she has full dairy (unsure of her cost. I didn't ask.)She did a full body melt over her cupcake, saying it was messy as it was beautifully moist the way BF should be but also delightful with a topping "not too sweet", just perfect.Meantime, I was over in my own chair, enamoured by the fresh, flavourful, texture perfect, content brilliant Korean Steak mixture within this fluffy warm cloud of Bao bun in a taco type fold. It was so good that I wanted to cancel all future coffee review locations and just come back here for this our coffee date each month!!! (*Post note ... an hour later, it still hadn't upset my tummy at all, just a tiny little baby bloat ... a little fatigue and 2.5 months pregnant only, maybe, not my usual 8 months pregnant bloat ... and nothing in me waiting to end a war with one tap of wind. TMI? Then you should have stopped reading this review 5 paragraphs ago.)I WANTED to try everything they offered but held myself back, willing to pace in for another stop another day.If you have $25 in your pocket, a friend or book you like, an hour to relax in a quaint, small atmosphere over a delicious beverage and delectable light meal ... then DEFINITELY try #purplecrumbs in Grande Prairie on the North end of the Save On Foods parking lot (though definitely Google their hours first)”

“The staff are always super polite and sweet, service is very quick. There's always a cute joke and drawing on my take out bag that makes me smile! My fish and chips are always hot and crispy, and my deep fried mocha mud pie is always delicious and a perfect treat! I love the layout of the dining area, and washrooms have always been clean during my visits.”
“This cafe is such a cozy atmosphere, with great drinks, and supporting such a great cause. Although today it left me a sour taste . We went there and the cats were gone in 2 minutes. There were only 4 kitten as the rest were at the vet. My kids had no cats to play or snnugle so we left within 5 minutes not even time to drink my tea I ordered. Waste of money and time. Upon our leaving I asked the ladies if we could get another chance to come in and play with them without paying and their answer was defineyly NO. So I might not go there again. We used to love that place though and brought friends with us when we visit but not anymore.”

We never thought to ask about it when ordering so just scraped it off. We thought the potatoes tasted like the instant kind and not real potatoes. The steaks were very good. Next time we visit we'll try something different.”

If anyone hasn't tried the pretzel bites with the cheese/beer dip you are missing out on a succulent treat. 9oz sirloin and mashed absolutely perfect and it comes hot. Great with their house red beer. My wife loves the haddock fish and chips. Best restaurant coleslaw going. And the service is professional and so friendly, top notch. With it being our favourite spot to unwind, it was a no brainer to ask if they would be willing to flange up all of our favs for our wedding day. Joe and his team mastered the challenge and provided us with the most stress-free experience and the most delicious food that our guests, even now 2 weeks later, are still raving about. “So had to try mcrib which has come back after 10 yrs here in Canada. The first time I ever tried the mcrib was in the late 80s as a kid a the Frankfurt airport McDonalds. I have always remembered the BBQ sauce as being tangier and less smoky. The one I had yesterday had, what I guess is Bullseye BBQ sauce. It was thick and smoky. Overall I have to say that it really doesn't live up to the hype. Perhaps if it was brought back on a regular basis, people's expectations wouldn't be so high and there may be more appreciation for what it is, a decent tasting fast food pork sandwich”

I don’t normally do room service but I decided to give it a try. Today is day three of me ordering room service after the first two meals were so delicious I had to post about it. Not only is the food delicious but Yogi and his great service makes the experience very welcoming. Great service and great food delivered to your door within minutes. Big thank you to Yogi and the staff over there. They will be seeing me again tomorrow.”

“Super nice airy loft feel. Local Grande Prairie coffee shop across the highway from Costco. The croissant was nice and fresh, I had a London fog, I can could taste high quality ingredients. It gets really popular later on mid day with the locals so you might need to speak up more loudly to talk to your coffee partner. They have washrooms and local business/events board near the door too.”

The food was delicious and the new owner and his son were so friendly to visit with- we were a bit later so it was quite quiet which lead to great chats with both of them. Because jamocha is unique and unmistakable. And it tasted like chocolate....But check out these great sauces!”

I’ve managed retail for over 10 years, he needs a raise if he’s gunna be treated so badly by customers or others. He felt the need to apologize over nothing while serving us. “I was at mucho burrito today. I viste them maybe once a week. The food is good the place is clean and I like to treat me and my family there. I have noticed that when they ask you for the protein ( meat ) portions are very little each time. In the beginning when they open they had decent portion. But a couple of time that I have been there very little portion. Today I told the lady to put more meat because really what she was giving me was very poor amount. You know I know it is a business I am telling you food is great but if you don’t give good portions like decent good portion that is worth the money you are paying people will leave like myself. Businesses should pay attention to this details you are paying for your good give the client the value of what they are paying.”

On the way in from the parking lot my husband kept saying, "There can't be a coffee shop in here!" Once you get to the door, there is signage, and the flooring staff are more than happy to immediately direct you to the magical archway that is the entrance to this European-inspired oasis.The atmosphere is incredible, the staff is friendly, and the coffee is delicious. “For my first time eating Panago I was very impressed and satisfied. I got off work late and with only 15 minutes til close the gentleman working said no problem at all he would do up a pizza and wings for me. Pizza tasted great. The crust was a perfect blend of a soft crunch.”

The food was delicious and the new owner and his son were so friendly to visit with- we were a bit later so it was quite quiet which lead to great chats with both of them. “So had to try mcrib which has come back after 10 yrs here in Canada. The first time I ever tried the mcrib was in the late 80s as a kid a the Frankfurt airport McDonalds. I have always remembered the BBQ sauce as being tangier and less smoky. The one I had yesterday had, what I guess is Bullseye BBQ sauce. It was thick and smoky. Overall I have to say that it really doesn't live up to the hype. Perhaps if it was brought back on a regular basis, people's expectations wouldn't be so high and there may be more appreciation for what it is, a decent tasting fast food pork sandwich”
