My Google maps won't let me post twice so I will post here. 10 stars out of 5! To all the staff what a fantastic job you do for your customers. I chose you guys for my wife's 60th birthday supper. If anyone hasn't tried the pretzel bites with the cheese/beer dip you are missing out on a succulent treat. 9oz sirloin and mashed absolutely perfect and it comes hot. My server tonight was beyond exceptional, provided a great atmosphere, checked on us periodically and was overall a amazing server. She was a middle aged woman i cant remember her name but she made our date night amazing. Very personable and a total vibe. Will certainly be back.

State & Main is a popular spot with great food. Despite some hiccups in service, the servers do their best to accommodate the busy restaurant. Families love coming here, and the food quality is top-notch. Some areas might be busier than others, affecting the service speed—some servers are incredible while others are surly. The delicious food, like the tomato soup served with toasted cheese-covered bread or the jalapeño mac and cheese, makes up for it. Chef creates excellent presentation, making it a great place for parties and weekend fun. The atmosphere is pleasant—quiet and easy on the eyes—though service delays can leave guests waiting too long.
Visitors from out of town often consider this one of their favorite spots in Grande Prairie, praising the great food, drinks, and atmosphere at reasonable prices. Locals also recommend State & Main for special occasions, highlighting the excellent food and service. The French Dip with fries and dill dip, and the Fried Chicken Tenders with fries are among the best dishes, with fresh, flavorful, and generous portions. The attentive and friendly service, especially from the server Little Meg, contributes to the perfect dining experience.
