“I'm battling Leukemia and heading to Calgary for a stem cell transplant where I will be for 3 months. I'm taking my kids individually on dates before I leave in a couple of days! Today, my son and I went for lunch to Joey's. Our first time! The place was PACKED! We were greated with a smile by more than 1 staff member. A table was cleaned immediately for us, despite the staff running around, as they were so busy! Drinks were topped up without having to ask. Food came put quickly and was absolutely amazing! We can't wait to visit Joey's again once I'm well! also prices were very reasonable!“

Our server, a young woman named Ashley, was attentive and genuinely warm without being overbearing, which we really appreciated. We split the lobster bisque to start and my husband said it was the best he'd had in years, high praise from a man who rarely compliments a soup. Lovely atmosphere, unhurried service, and a perfectly cooked prime rib - we'll absolutely make this a stop whenever we pass through Grande Prairie again.“
