My review from Google Maps: Sadly, I absolutely cannot recommend this one. I don't know if they were having an off night or what, but the food the five of us had was in no sense worth the money. Bruschetta? Incredibly high in garlic, and that's from people who would routinely double or quadruple the garlic in a recipe. Arancini? Incredibly light on cheese. Gnocchi? Falling apart. Spaghetti? We had Date night at Acqua Cucina and I absolutely LOVED IT ! 🇮🇹✨
The first thing that made me smile was the Italian music playing in the background. I recognized the song right away and spent the night guessing all the playlist songs and singing along. For a moment i honestly forgot I was in GP and felt like I was back home. It made me a little emotional in the best way, reminding me where I come from and how much I miss Italy (born and raised there ❤️).

Acqua Cucina Italian Restaurant serves very good meals. The Ceasar Salads are one of the best, and the Cacio e Pepe and Gnocci are excellent. The food is delicious and not oily. The atmosphere is good, with great ambiance and Art on the walls. The restaurant can get busy, but making reservations helps. The staff is great, and the privately owned restaurant has a great vibe. Although it's expensive and portions aren't huge, they're enough. The restaurant is a great addition to Grande Prairie, and the food is highly recommended. Guests can enjoy great food and a good experience, making it a place to return to with friends and family.
