I ordered the one piece halibut and fries and it was full of bones. I can still feel them stuck in my throat. When I showed the waitress how many bones were in my piece of fish, she was sympathetic and offered to talk to the owner. She came back and said they “weren’t around” but that the cook offered to make me another piece that I could take to go if I wanted. The LAST thing I wanted was another piece. I didn’t eat much of my meal and my evening is ruined as all I can think about is the bones stuck in my craw. Sorry, I’m not a fan.

Absolutely blown away! I Admittedly have been suspect of seafood in.. well, anywhere in Alberta. However, I was told they have it flown in fresh every other day; and man does it show! The surf and turf with Alberta Beef and Atlantic Snow crab was to die for. Even the breakfasts here have been comparatively phenomenal. The service was great, Alicia was extremely friendly, talented, and on top of things. Their cocktails were great as well, with the old fashions really impressing me as well. Overall, 9.5-10, can’t wait to come back the next time I’m in town.

Visiting from out of town, we have been looking forward dinner here for some time. We sure weren't disappointed. A huge thank you to Alicia, our server. Who on Dec 5,2024 made some of the best Ceasars one could ask for. Knew the restaurant's menu well, including several daily specials and their current Market prices. I enjoyed King crap and Lobster fettuccine and my husband loved his Coquille St. Jacques 12 Oz New York steak. THANKS to both Alicia and the Chefs. Hope to see you again!

We had supper in the lounge and it was overall amazing! The food is the best we’ve eaten in Grande Prairie; the selection is fantastic.
The service we received from Michael was outstanding! He is friendly, attentive and on top of any needs. I couldn’t have asked for better service.
The ambiance is cozy and welcoming.
We will eat there whenever we are in Grande Prairie and we would recommend it to everyone!
Great job!

The baked potatoes were cold. The steak had a lot of gristle and fat. The Neptune topping was very greasy and tasted funny. Would not recommend this restaurant

Oh so your blaming the customer, real professional
We told the waitress that there was a lot of gristle and fat. She could see it on the plate. She should have done something other than offer her another steak. Why would we want another steak????

Annette- best service I've had in a long while! As a loyal patron of Holiday Inn I frequently come here. She's so friendly and kind. Big shout out to her. Come here if you wanted to be treated as a real human. Kindness is a real thing here.

Went in around 10am for the breakfast buffet for $16 and there were still A LOT of food left surprisingly yet alarmingly. I really do hope they dont reuse that for the next day or that what we were eating isnt mixed with what was left from yesterday. The food was great and even has an egg station for whatever eggs you want, choices and variety could be improved but for $16 its not as bad i guess. Service was awesome. The coffee though is trash! Im not really a coffee person and just recently got into drinking coffee and i gotta say, their coffee is disgusting! It tasted like theres some alcohol and the beans are burnt, cremated or something. So its a 4/5 stars for me because of that. Im a breakfast person and having some good coffee feels like mandatory for an establishment that offers breakfast buffet.

Service was excellent, waitress went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Food was expertly prepared and presented, came to the table hot and was deliciously flavored. Would recommend to anyone who loves seafood and will certainly be returning.

Oh my god. I left this place stuffed. All you can eat crab with a steak!

First off, we mistakenly ordered appetizers. We had clam chowder, PEI mussels, and the mushroom soup. The mussels were incredible. The others with me said the soups were to die for. They sure looked and smelled delicious.

I ordered the crab with 4 oz steak. With my meal came melted butter, and when I asked for lemon, it was brought quickly. The only downside is that the butter cooled too quickly. They definitely need the butter warmers. My crab was perfectly cooked, delicious, and salty. Exquisite! I ate 3 helpings of the crab and left the restaurant completely satisfied and waddling. ?

My meal also came with veggies and potatoes, but I don't eat either. Two of my dinner mates said they were excellent.

The others ordered the 12 oz new York steak and the seafood linguini. Every one of us was extremely happy with the quality of the food and the portions.

Excellent service, too!

What a meal!

Fancy dinner price with strange atmosphere, surley staff, and mediocre mains. The mashed potatoes consisted of lastnights mash mixed with today's veggie fried into a hashbrown.... and the "garnish" was two ancient carrot sticks and a toonie size pile of sprouts. Just don't bother.... $140 date night will take you alot farther somewhere nicer.
