Jeffrey's Cafe Co. - Mill District

Stopped in today for lunch with family that has allergies and a toddler. It took roughly 10-15minutes to be acknowledged at our table by our server, who seemed frantic and annoyed from the get go. We needed to adjust the kids meal given her dairy and gluten allergy, which the waitress made excuses to accommodate. We requested the kids food or side to arrive first, which the waitress made a fuss about, making us feel like it was a tall order. One of our meals had a miscellaneous piece of bread in the wrap, and when asked to correct it to accommodate an allergy, the supervisor on shift brought it to our table. Our waitress made a point of avoiding us afterwards, not checking in until we flagged her down to get our bills. We had to request the child’s dessert which we were told she “doesn’t give it unless people actually ask for it”, though it was part of the meal.

Honestly was not impressed with the food for the price we paid and the service was disappointing. Do better so we can support local businesses

I’d give this a pass for a while. Tried to get in for lunch for 3 seniors. Waited for 5 minutes before we noticed an iPad tucked off to the right of the entry.This apparently is the new way you sign in to wait for a table. My friend signed in and we began to wait. Another 5 minutes goes by and an employee who saw us come in but gave us no assistance asked if we had signed in. I told her we had signed in and the name that it was under. She departed and returned in another 5 minutes and asked what name we had put in. She then checked her iPad and said that she did not have that name in the system. By this time there were another three foursomes that had apparently signed in properly. The employee offered to help us sign in properly and indicated we would of course be at the end of the line. We left and had a nice lunch at Earl’s. Between the average food, the slow service, and the lack of customer service Jefferies has been stroked off our list of places to eat in GP. You can do better than this place unless you are not hungry and have lots of time.

I think it's time for google to iniate the 0 stars review..I stopped by your coffee shop to get a latte and waited over 45 minutes, even though the employee said it would only take a 2 second. Eventually, she asked a coworker to help, which felt quite unpleasant. The service seems to be lacking in hospitality and frendliness.waited 12mins when I finally got my latte, it was standard, but the overall experience was quite disappointing. I remember having a similar experience six months ago and ended up leaving without my coffee.

One of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Food and service was absolutely terrible. Low quality for outrageous prices. Manager said I had to pay for the gross meal that I couldn’t eat.

We usually order ahead and take the food home when we come to town to visit family. The food is tasty (even for takeout) the menu is large, something for everybody to choose. If ice cream is your thing, have dinner at the restaurant and walk across the parking lot to The Scoop for dessert

Waitress was extremely rude and never came around when we needed her. She even scared us a bit when she would glare ate us from across the room but not actually come over to help us. She would ignore our questions and leave before we were done ordering. The food wasn't even good it was cold and dry. Very stressful atmosphere with uncomfortable seating and dirty cups. Our waitress didnt even serve our food someone else dropped them off and what she did serve she just plopped on the table. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Quite expensive for the quality of food and service.

The food was great, but my sister and I had the worst service I’ve ever experienced. The young person provided less than poor service. She took our order but forgot some things. Ignored me when I tried to get her attention. Noticeably dropped our plates on the table when she brought our food. Seemed to be laughing and enjoying time with her coworkers and didn’t come back to our table once until we were all done except when I had to call out to her. It was very disappointing experience.

Blt bagel was perfectly layered, with bacon on both sides of the sandwhich it gave it a nice even crunch. Smoked salmon bagel lacked cream cheese, and the cheese cake was a nice size.

This has become my go-to for breakfast! The food has been excellent each time, for both dining in and delivery.

Excellent portion sizes and I always end up getting two meals out of it.

With all the hype. I expected better.
My rancher steak sandwich which was ordered medium rare came very well done. The side, was potato.chips. Not what was described on the menu. Not what was expected for $26 and all the hype.
My GF meal. Prime rib sandwich, was almost burnt. She didn't eat her potato chips..
Service was lack luster. We were asked once what it was tasting like. Never saw the waitress again, they were too busy visiting during shift change, about who was 26 and still living at home, etc.

Fantastic menu, great service, drinks are superb, highly recommend this place! Don’t think I’ve ever been disappointed coming here.
