Said open at 11am waited till 11.25 am didn't unlock doors. Or answer the phone at Grande Prairie location. Staff inside cutting meat but didn't open. Stood behind counter staring out as people. Not impressed ?.

Not the greatest donairs but there all right. what really gets the bad review is when I ordered hot wings and I got plain breaded wings with a side of hotsauce enough to cover 1 wing. Talk about being cheap.

I’m from Calgary so I have ample choice for great donairs. I work in GP frequently and have tried donairs from many of GP’s sources and KOD’s are by far the best in town. The food is always good, the restaurant is always clean and I eat here 3-4 times a week when I’m in town. KOD never disappoints!

As someone from nova scotia we went in to see if they could deep fry their panzerotti just like in nova scotia and they absolutely did and it tasted just like home!! Awesome friendly service too!

Came in and got given the wrong pizza, I live 20 minutes out of town so I asked how long they were open - he told me 10pm. At 9:45 pm I arrive to the store to get the new pizza the doors were locked. Eventually I got the employees attention, and they gave me my pizza but awful customer service

Nova Scotia born and raised, I know what good donairs and garlic fingers are all about. I've eaten here multiple times and it's never a taste of home. Today may be my last time as it took more than 25 mins to make my donair as I stood by the pickup counter with no other customers while the worker cleaned the kitchen. I guess my order wasn't being prepared because there was a communication gap between who took my order and the kitchen cleaner not being told to cook my food. I was given an apology but a mistake like that there should have had some compensation, like take a free pop or here's a second donair as you were forgotten about for 20 mins. My mistake was being occupied with reading the murals on the wall after paying for my food and not realizing my food was never put on the grill.

Visit to pick up skip order. Skip order number #23585. Arrived there before collection time. Staff told me that food will take 5 more minutes. Understandable but the way he responded was ridiculously rude. If you have accepted the order to be done in a timely manner. You must obey the rule as well as the drivers who drive to pick up your food so that the customers can enjoy your food. Behaviour was nonsense. The chubby guy replied that you want the food of not. Show him or her that we drivers are not woke for him. Show him how to talk or deal with drivers. I’m going to report that to the head office.

I wanted to like this place. Clean, friendly staff, and groovy 70's tunes. There is serious potential here. However I had a bad experience with a large donair GUSHING copious amounts of greasy brown sludge all over my favorite work shirt and jeans in the first few attempted bites. This was served so hot you couldn't contiously hold the tinfoil.Like I get the fact that Donairs can be somewhat messy affairs and if your not careful dribbling can surely happen. But I didn't think so much soup could seap out so quickly right from the get go. This was nothing like the other four donair places I have tried. Now I am sitting hungry, in my underwear with my clothes in the wash hoping this brown stuff will come out.

My King of Donair is ruined as a favourite GP Spot. Went in today and Was met with very surly, smarmy guy that pointedly ignored me at first (except for a scowl, for coming in at all I guess) then another scowl and complaints about how very busy he wasBy his disturbing attitude I was very much afraid he might do something gross to the food. Had intended to order my usual medium Alberta and Medium Original.Decided it was best to give up and leave empty handed.Very disappointing

I order king of Donair in Halifax, being from there, every time I am home. I order KOD in Calgary and whenever and I order it when I visit Grand Prairie. Needless to say, I am in Grand Prairie. Unfortunately the food took over an hour to be delivered on a Sunday night, and the food arrived cold . I will not be buying from King of Donairs in Grand Prairie anymore. They have sullied the KOD name in my book.

Although tasty the size of the donairs we bought did not feed us. So disappointed in the size compared to a few months ago....never again.

I thought this place was awesome when it first opened…. Now not so much. Ordered it tonight and everything has gone downhill. First, the donair is just rolled up in tin foill and sits in grease making it very soggy. Second, the meat is hard and dry and flavourless, garlic poppers are very doughy lately and the donair sauce is runny. This place is very disappointing and I don’t think I’ll be back. You can get a better donair almost anywhere else
