Very good menu. Prices are fair. Most diet needs can be addressed. Staff very efficient. Bar and kitchen closed at 9pm, which surprised us.

If you have air conditioning, when it's hot it would be the time to turn it on.We found it somewhat warm otherwise it was very good.

Always good every time we go. Every dish has been excellent, especially the rack of lamb.

Our server was great, no complaints there. The food was nothing to write home about, at all. Pasta was undercooked, meatballs tasted frozen and were tough! The bread is boring and bland. The sauce for everything is just weird. Mussels drowning in a thick flavourless sauce, same for the tiny shrimp. Scallops were big and nice - the only good part of the meal. Even the mushroom caps.. no! Too much bread crumbs in the filling. My husband had the linguine and he said it was good, just soupy. This is getting ridiculous! You pay hundreds to eat somewhere and I’m better off cooking at home. Our second time to Padrinos ( the first was just as bad 3 years ago) and we thought we’d give it another go. We won’t be back. If you want an amazing Italian experience, next time in Calgary go to Mercato either downtown or up in spring bank… now THAT is real authentic Italian food.

Great food, I’ve yet to have a bad dish here, it’s a gem in Grande Prairie and a fantastic change from the normal
Chain restaurants. Highly recommend

I never found the food tasted good. Shrimp had to flavor, no salt or garlic. U had to eat it with sauce.
The noodles, again no salt, ...
Just my opinion others found there food acceptable...

Easily the best restaurant we have been to in town. If you want to get all dressed up and go for a date night highly recommended. Our waitress Ashly was a superstar. How can anyone give this spot less than 5 stars is appalling.

Padrino's is always a wonderful experience. I had the gnocchi at the suggestion of our server and it did not disappoint. Food and drinks are top-notch, service is always excellent, very professional and efficient. Great ambiance and though it's a pricier establishment, you get what you pay for.

Padrino's is always a cut above every other restaurant in Grande Prairie. It is the place we save for very special occasions. The service and food is always excellent. Our most recent experience was dampened by a gentleman sitting near us who spoke loudly and used foul language. This isn't a reflection on the restaurant and I mention this only to speak to those who dine there. Don't ruin the lovely ambience for others around you. Keep your voice down and leave your course language at the door. Your behavior might ruin a special romantic evening for those around you.

On suggestion from our awesome waitress Ashley I ordered the spicy seafood dish and overall it was quite tasty, however, one of the mussels was dead, something I was surprised the kitchen missed as it wasn’t a straight-up mussel dish. The chef sent out a plate of mussels in tomato sauce as an apology, which was a nice thing to do. I suppose I shouldn’t complain too much about the quality of the mussels, being in the middle of the prairies and all but they weren’t up to par. They tasted old and were very, very small. Would like to see a little more balsamic and oil too, even though it was free, there was barely enough for 3 pieces of bread.

Wasn’t much of a fan of the Tiramisu, found it slightly bland.

Best part of the meal was the shrimp. In every dish they were succulent, plump, and delicious.
