Sawmill Prime Rib & Steak House

Food was fantastic as always. Service was poor, 8 people reservation, 20% added to everyone's bill for tip, if the service was good nobody would have complained, hopefully the tip went to the kitchen staff

The service , food and overall everything was absolutely perfect. Our waitress (can't remember her name) was the best.

We usually love going to Sawmill, it's in the pricier side but usually the portions and service make it worth it. When going this time, we ordered our usual appetizer the steak bites and they were presented on skewers; 2 small pieces of steak per and one mushroom and so much less than what you usually get. It's $20 appetizers so it was really disappointing, we also got the bacon wrapped scallops and there was only 4 penny sized scallops probably all sharing the same piece of bacon. Normally there is 6 of them, our server also only came up to us 3 times in the 40 minutes we were there. The manager ended up coming over and we talked to him about our disappointment because of the difference in portions and how the price had stayed the same, we weren't informed of the menu change either and when we were talking to the manager he said it was changed two days ago and he had been getting similar complaints about the size difference. He handled the situation very well and said we could have the appetizers for free but at that point we just weren't feeling it so we left Overall very disappointed and probably won't be a regular spot anymore.

Great spot for couples, the food quality is good however the gravy was a bit salty, rather than that over all good experience.

First time in Grand Prairie. Stopped in the Sawmill for dinner to see our friend who was the bartender. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food

Terrance is amazing! Hes such a friendly and knowledgable host, he makes every visit welcoming and fun. The food is great, but not gunna lie we come back for Terrance,. His service is absolutely outstanding, his personality and skills are what makes this a fine dining restaurant. We get him everytime and he is consistently awesome. 10/10!!!!

Came in for a late dinner and had a few appies. The entire staff was super friendly. The manager on duty, Kariem was fabulous and went above and beyond. We had a few appetizers and. Shared a 12oz prime rib and had a few drinks. Would recommend 1000%

Our server Sam was very friendly and funny. The food was good but not exceptional and seemed expensive for what we got. Loved the cheesecake!

We were there for our 28th anniversary. Everything was perfect. The food was delicious. We were even presented with a surprise after our meal. Ice cream with the plate marked saying “happy 28th Anniversary “ I very nice surprise to end such a wonderful meal. Terrence was great to deal with and very personal-able Thank you.

Everything was great except the wine decanter was dirty on the outside for sure. I'm not sure about the inside. Poor attention to detail
