My grand girls & myself had lunch today at your restaurant. The service was very slow. We ordered chicken fingers which were quite dry. We also ordered grilled cheese….what could go wrong with that? The cheese was actually cold & bread barely cooked. Sent it back & wasn’t much better. Explanation it is the cheese……doesn’t melt well, but still added to bill. Perhaps a change in product is needed. I have frequented S&M often and food has always been good. Service is usually slow but professional but not so much today. We had three different servers.

It's not a bad venue to grab dinner. Im not the biggest fan of their prices for some of their food items. If you're looking for a great steak, I'd go to the Keg instead of here. Their cocktails and drinks are great though.

We had high hopes for our anniversary visit, especially after noting the occasion on our reservation—but unfortunately, it went unacknowledged. While the atmosphere was pleasant—quiet and easy on the eyes—the service left much to be desired. We let our server know that we planned to order more once happy hour started—which was just around the corner—but after our initial appetizer, no one checked in with us. We waited over 20 minutes into the happy hour window, and still no one came to take our order, even though we had clearly expressed that we wanted to place it right at the start. We were left sitting with empty plates, waiting to place an order that would have taken additional time to prepare and enjoy. With other plans ahead and a busy day, we simply didn't have time to waste just waiting for someone to return to our table. We ended up flagging down another staff member just to pay and leave. It was disappointing, especially since we had intended to try several more items, including the house beer, calamari, soup dumplings, truffle fries, and jalapeño mac and cheese, had our server come back. Unfortunately, we left hungry and let down—definitely not the experience we hoped for on a special day.

Food took an hour and 10 minutes to arrive to our table; customers who arrived after us. Were served received their bills and left before we even received our food. My steak was so rare and rubbery I sent it back, only to get another rubbery steak. Not a very family friendly restaurant.

The service can be a hit and miss. Some servers have been incredible while others were surly and downright unpleasant. The tomato soup is my favourite 😍 ...be warned it is served with probably half a French loaf worth of toasted, cheese covered bread for dipping.

Was not busy when we arrived. Server was friendly. Thats where it ended. Food was delivered to wrong table. Food was cold when it arrived.Drinks were wrong size. No refills offered until meals were done. We had bad expeeince 10 years ago, finally went back. No so great. Also wasnt to impressed with the menu offering, but that could be personal taste.

love the food every time - however our server (update i believe it was the manager on shift) didn’t check up on us, it wasn’t busy yet couldn’t take the time to come over. It was our anniversary & the entire time during our meal we felt uncomfortable:( specifically we waited over 10 minutes after we finished eating for our bill to be brought yet noticed another table of older gentleman were attended to multiple times during the duration we waited. we ended up running late to our other event. The host on shift was amazing tho, he brought us our refills and was kind.
Some menu items are no longer available so it's hit and miss to get what you want here. Service otherwise was good
