Food & drinks: The staff in the restaurant is nothing short of OUTSTANDING. As business owner, I take customers, staff and suppliers there for breakfast and I pre warn them to “ just watch the level of customer service” they almost text book perfect.
Thank you to the restaurant staff to make it such an easy choice for breakfast meetings. ( food is top shelf also, well valued to boot)

This is a nice hotel. Why did I rate it 2 stars? I was in a room just off the entry into GP. It was very noisy all night. There were trucks and loud cars coming to the stop light there and it kept waking me up. The sound barriers are poor. Get a room away from that road. Get a room ending in 13 or 11 or 9.

The rooms are great, the people nice, it is just noisy.

Second, the room next door had a phone and kept getting calls starting at 5 am. I could hear it like there was a paper barrier.

A very poor sleep. But otherwise the hotel is nice.

Attend a symposium that is held in this hotel and stayed for 2 nights. The first night is so horrible experience. Had lots of bites from the bed bugs and unpleasant room. 2nd night they moved me to different room same experience. I made complaint and they confirmed that the room was infected and they’ll treated it now. But who knows if that’s true right?I advise do not stay in this hotel at all! Lots of options in GP.

Management is out to lunch.
Steam room has been broken for over 6 months and management decided it's easier and cheaper to just leave it broken instead of fixing it. Especially since they lie about having a steam room (if it hasn't worked this long then it doesn't exist)

Don't bother staying here unless your company has a negotiated rate.
Otherwise you'll find out they make up rates on the spot and lie to their customers about it.

3 of us all called at the same time to book. Each of us were quoted a different price for the exact same room. Shows you management/desk staff just arbitrarily make up rates on the spot and lies about it.

Also house keeping staff like to tell at eachother down the hall ways when the hotel Knows there are night shift people on that floor.

Safety: Sketchy people skulk around in the evenings and they lock the entrance.

Had a few different times where someone was smoking tobbaco / cannabis in the hotel on my floor.

I have a contractor account here. There is one lady who ruined it. She works the night shift. Short hair. Extremely rude often for no reason. I have sleep apnea and sometimes have trouble sleeping. When I walk in the lobby she is extremely suspicious even though I’ve been there over a year. I’m a 40 year old mature business owner. Once she came up to me and asked what I was up to as if I was planning a crime. I told her “I’m staying here” and she replied “well you’re not going to find your room over there”. But last night was the final blow. My 19 year old nephew was having drinks in my room until about 2 am. I called him a cab and he went downstairs. He texted me from outside in the cold saying he needed to warm up. I go down to find this woman wouldn’t let him wait in the small waiting area (he had no jacket). I tried to ask her to let him in and she absolutely wouldn’t. It blew me away. * EDIT Let it be clear that I was in the presence of this front desk staff when she would still not allow my nephew to warm up. I clarified the room number, my name and I was willing to wait in the door area quietly with him. She still wouldn’t allow it. I looked past a lot to enjoy this hotel. This was extremely unprofessional.

First time staying in this hotel with our puppy. If it wasn't Christmas time, we would just stay elsewhere for the next 2 days.
Would 100% not recommend this hotel.
After switching rooms after the one that was initially ours had no hot water and 0 water pressure.
Pros: seems clean so far, the staff is amazing
Cons: light burnt out in bathroom, and no WORKING light in the entrance.
Bed is not comfy, every time hubby rolled over it woke me up.
Still no lighting or signage to mark the main entrance.
No greenery for your pooch to "go".
Even with the dog cookie, it's not worth it and we're not staying here again.

The most terrible experience ever!! We got a late checkout because husband was working and I was waiting for him. Check out time comes and a man lets himself in the room as he quickly knocks. I told him you can’t just walk in a room he was so rude and condescending and thought there was nothing wrong with walking in my room!
I’ve never complained or made a review at a hotel before but this was triggering and terribly handled with no apologies only attitude!

Prab went above and beyond booking me in. She even called back to lower my rate as I didn't know our company had a discount here. The hotel far exceeded my expectations and has been currently renovated to a high standard. The buffett was on par with $500/ night hotels. Excellent all around, couldn't recommend more.

Used to be awesome hotel when steam room was going, been down for several months. Restaurant is good, rooms are good, however there is one lady at the front desk with short hair who is quite rude. Spent months staying here over the past couple years with work. Have moved to another hotel. But would recommend this hotel.

Head house keeper. Air quality should be priority to your guests.
Furniture in room, Beautiful but it deserves some love from a steam cleaner. Bring it back to life.

****** 6 stars for the ladies at front desk. They are absolutely AMAZING. The Pomeroy is lucky to have them on their team.

Swimming pool is NOT for any seniors. Getting in and off those ladders are dangerous.
NO shallow end.
Watched women try to get out of pool with their children. They couldn't. They needed help
