Tokyo Ichiban Japanese Restaurant

Saturday night. Sushi platter, it was cold and or day old rice. I don’t normally do this but I’ve been waiting for months for a night out and the sushi rice (50% arguably of the dish), cold, old , and not satisfying. I had a soft spot for Tokyo ichiban, but I spent about a hundo. For decent fish over bad rice 🙃

Delicious food, good service, I will come back.

Great sushi, best not only in grande prairie, but on my top 3 across Canada for sure. Service is super fast, and nice. Quality is great from the sashimi to specialty rolls, the sockeye salmon sashimi is a very nice change, and the menu is very large which is impressive that the quality is so good. Highly recommend.
~Only reason I spent over 100$ myself is because I ate until absolutely full beyond full 😅~

Did a dinner boat and hot sake $103.00 worth of food. The dinner boat had no sushi in it. It took the server 20 min to get us soya sauce. The food was very less compared to the sushi boat I get at other restraunts. They had no desert. Once I paid the bill the server got upset and started yelling at me for not giving her tip. I walked away, then she went up to my friend and complain and I did not gave her tip. All pf this in front of bunch of other ppl eating there. What a nasty place to dine in.

This place is really good and the staff are wonderful.
One of the only sushi places you’ll find in Alberta that serves you wild fish, not farmed fish which makes it a gem

Bathrooms were unpleasant and disgusting, the food was tasteless and quite frankly disgusting. I can’t imagine myself going back, I wouldn’t recommend

Came back afymter a long absence and it's still a great place. Authentic atmosphere, really good service even stopped eating to ring up my bill. Highly recommend the spicy tako

Friendly staff, awesome atmosphere & great food!

I called and Stella answered. Let me say I was blown away by her knowledge and customer service. I was feeling sick so I asked her what is a good option for me. And she suggested the miso ramen soup. Filled with probiotics and proteins to help me fight my sickness. She was super informative of everything on the menu aswell she took the time to answer all my questions. Let me say I took nearly 15 mins learning about the menu with her on the phone. Will be ordering from here again! Amazing people, fantastic quality

We found a hair in our lettuce and when we spoke to the server they blamed us for the hair. My wife has light brown hair. They let us leave without paying which was very nice of them, but I would of appreciated some accountability for the hair. It was kind of really gross. I hope you can see the picture of the hair I pulled out of the lettuce.
