Angie, the owner, has the most loving and generous heart, and the most wonderful coffee making skills. She takes such thoughtful care of every cat that comes to her cafe and employs competent young people who make the establishment feel cared for and sophisticated. The soup and sandwiches are simple and divine. But, most of all, the cats are amazing. I adopted my Miss Mavis from Whisker’s in 2020 as my covid cat and she is the light in my life. Yet, I come back as often as I can to Angie’s cat cafe, because it is just the best place! Wonderful, soothing ambience, totally conducive to a chat over coffee with friends catching up, as well as for napping with the cats in the sunbeams on the couches by the window as gentle piano music plays. Having recently adopted out 1000 cats into the GP area, Whiskers Cat Cafe truly takes the cake as my most beloved and highly esteemed local business in Grande Prairie. Currently they have 18 kittens in the lounge so it is wonderful chaos. The coffee and hot chocolate are delish and we easily spent an hour here. We will always recommend coming here.❤️Kid-friendliness: Helps kids learn appropriate handling of cats and appreciation.

The cats here are great and well socialized. Amazing effort to get these cats into lovable homes. The staff is knowledgeable and extremely friendly. The space is clean and so well set up for the cats!Its abit pricey..but the concept was lovely.

Visiting from Ontario and I would totally fly back just to go to Whiskers Cafe again!!! My son and I didn’t want to leave! He had a hot chocolate and I had a fresh brewed ice tea and both were delicious…but let’s be honest…we were there for the cats and they did not disappoint!!! Playful, cuddly and cute! The place was clean, staff were friendly, and it was a wonderful atmosphere! Love that they adopt the cats out…and I would have taken them all if I could! Left with a full heart and a happy soul ?
